About White Bull Gisburn
The White Bull of Gisburn is a country inn that just so happens to be a charming spot for some classic British dining in classic British surroundings. Refurbished and reopened in 2016, The White Bull can be found on Main Street and has become an integral part of this Clitheroe community, offering food and drink along with a warm, family-type buzz. The main menu caters for those peckish for a light bite or something to share, as well as those in the mood for a traditional British main or Sunday roast. Some of our menu favourites include the braised steak pudding with proper chips, as well as the slow-braised lamb shank. Make a reservation and you’ll soon see why The White Bull is a Gisburn favourite.

Really enjoyed our meal, the food was lovely, would definitely recommend and return, we had the 3 courses but should have just had two due to the sizes.
Excellent good and service ! Went as a party 5. All enjoyed freshly prepared food We will be back soon 😀 thank you x x
Nice interior, friendly staff. Food was excellent. It was a Saturday night and plenty of customers but we weren't waiting long for the service. Car Park is a decent size, often difficult to park in Gisburn so that was a big plus. Overall an enjoyable meal.
First rate meals, the three of us all had different meals and were very pleased with what we had. I finished off with the 'piece de resistance', rice pudding with fruits of the forest and topped with crumble. Much better than it sounds. The draught bitter was impressive as well.
Good attention to the booking. The pub seems well supported, but was extremely quiet,I'm glad to say.The hard floors certainly hinder any deadening of ambient sounds, and we were very aware of people talking in other parts of the connecting bars; plus the loud sound system, playing 'popular music ' More detailed review on TripAdvisor.
Friendly staff in pleasant surroundings with great food. We ate from the two courses for two people for £22 menu. The choice was not too extensive and a couple of items were unavailable, but the food was delicious and well presented. Will definitely be back.
Fresh delicious food, largely sourced from local farmers. Friendly staff and even though tables are geared mainly for diners, the atmosphere retains a village pub feel. The central bar area was always lively with friendly regulars.
Nice pub atmosphere. Service was quick and the food was well presented although the portions were a little large for people with smaller appetites. It would be nice if smaller portions were available.
We did enjoy the food and will visit again. It was very busy which we took as a good sign. Our first visit since the new people took over and 100% improvement.
Was nice but not brilliant!! The stir fry was quite tasteless which was a shame also there was no good space to sit in the bar to just relax would have.liked to see booths possidly!
Manager was very helpful. Food and service very good. Coffee was not very good. However would go again and recommend to anyone else. parking also good
After a family day out it was great for a family meal on Father's Day. The mixed grill was yummy. Good food, great service x
Steak under done initially and blue cheese sauce not as expected.Another of the steaks was chewy and also under done.Childrens meals were fine and the drinks and table.
