Located in an 18th century beerhouse, White Hart doubles as cosy cafe by day, and quality gastropub and restaurant by night. Located along The Wharfage, along the River Severn, whether you’re in the mood for a filling pub-style lunch of your favourite British classics, or, after a special evening sampling delicious European-style fare, White Hart provides the perfect backdrop, no matter the occasion. Expect dishes like crispy pig's cheek terrine, gooseberry and apple to begin, before a main or potato gnocchi with tomato, mozzarella and basil, or lamb rump and braised belly with dauphinoise potatoes, charred broccoli and roscoff onion. Whatever your selection, you’ll be satisfied to no end in this Ironbridge restaurant. You’ll find this foodie haven only fifteen minutes out of Telford, just be sure to reserve in advance to avoid disappointment.
Delightful and interesting menu. Staff, totally professional, on the ball and all with smile. A cheese board to experience and the setting we found so very calming. Will be back there soon. Regards to future travellers -Terry Bryan.
Food, ambience and service was excellent. Limiteted menu however enough choices for most pallets. Plan to return again soon and would highly recommend for that special occasion or just nice meal out.
My wife and I visited on a Thursday evening, this was our second visit. The food was beautifully presented and there was a fantastic menu that we had to chose from. The service (as on our last visit) was first class. Great evening, well done!
Excellent Service and food was amazing. From the moment we booked we were well looked after. We will be visiting again when in Ironbridge - thank you
Thank you we had a great time! Whilst we are local we had never had a meal at the White hart - but we will now be regulars. From the decor, to the friendly and helpful staff and the fabulous menu we were surprised and pleased to have discovered this gem Great to see such a quality venue in Ironbridge and will be recommending.
Food, service and atmosphere were really excellent. It is some time since I've visited the White Hart and I was surprised at its transformation. The menu had a number of different dishes to choose from, the food was delicious and the service was really excellent . Will definitely return.
Excellent venue with great tasting food. 7 of us went on a Sunday and it was great from start to finish. What stood out was the excellent price for a 3 course lunch, cheap as chips at £18ea. Service was fantastic and overall would go again. Thanks
Nice location, parking difficult, food nice but not exceptional therefore value for money only average rather than good. Not much choice of real ale which is important to me even if not to everyone. Good atmosphere and good service sceptic for the occasional inexplicably long wait now and then. Nice staff. Might go again because t there are plenty of others to try first while looking for great value.
I’ve been a Michelin star chef for over 20 years and found the food at The White Hart to be cleverly crafted and very enjoyable. I certainly would recommend this place to anyone wish to eat fab food in a beautiful and relaxed setting.
The food and service was excellent. Really well presented and tasty food - but if you like large portions this is not the restaurant for you. But what you get is delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
