Lovely food, very busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The restaurant was not very warm and the food also was luke warm.

We always feel welcomed when we come to whittles as though all the staff want you to have the best time. The food is excellent - good portion sizes and good quality- cooked to perfection. We are so lucky to live close by and can come in regularly!

first visit, fine dining at its best, excellent menu. Compares with best dining experiences in he local area. I equate the food and service to the Priory Wareham in a more intimate setting. For me the wine was somewhat OTT in price.

I booked Whittles on a Thursday evening to celebrate my partners birthday. Although the restaurant was quiet, the food was delicious, service was amazing and the quiet atmosphere made it a lovely experience. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic, fine dining is an expensive treat, however every morsel had amazing concentration of taste and looked exquisite. Service was professional yet friendly. Lovely evening

Living in such a culinary dessert we were pleased to eat in a restaurant trying to provide a more original offer. All dishes tried were excellent. Basics such decent seating good linen napkins plus excellent offer of quality bread. We did think however that to encourage regular customers specials should be offered on a weekly basis. Worth a visit.

We had a booking for 9pm so quite late but it was busy but not over so. Staff very welcoming food great couldnt fault anything had a lovely evening out

Really enjoyed it, but they ran out of chocolate mousse which we wanted!

The music was a little too loud in the restaurant, although the atmosphere was good. Also, when the main courses were served, we had no cutlery to eat it with as we had used this for our starters. We had to request this and it took a couple of minutes before it arrived and we could start to eat.

First visit and it won’t be the last . The whole place oozes class, from the excellent friendly staff to the incredible food .

We came to celebrate the end of school for our girls. Lovely evening, the service was really attentive and friendly from all the staff. The food was delicious, couldn’t fault it! We enjoyed our spritzers in the bar first! Overall a perfect place to enjoy a special evening. Thank you Whittles!

Definitely our favourite restaurant so far. The quality or food, service and atmosphere was impeccable. I would recommend.

I think we should have checked the lunch menu before coming. Food was nice but such a limited choice. It was our Christmas treat, so overall, a bit disappointed for the money.

Third visit so that in itself speaks volumes. Food was excellent. Great customer service. The only negative thing is I think the background music could be improved. But that might just be the views of a 58 year old! I’d like to hear music more in the genre of the restaurant era.

Meal was Good, & very Good service, but not any discount for ‘ Armed Forces Defense Discount’ certified card holders.Also not any menu or provisions for ‘ Vegetarians’ which was very poor.As we would have liked to go back with our ‘ Family’ who , some are Vegetarian.

We had lunch which was very nice and good service, we had soup with bread in a basket which was charged separately £2.50 for 2 small slices each of sour dough bread which I felt was expensive for what it was . Soup very nice . Small plates served at lunch time were really starters and not sufficient for a lunch , we had a dessert each which was very nice , and a coffee which was also really good . The ambiance and the food was very good but not enough of it for the price . I did really enjoy it , the decor is very nice , and all the special touches like the China and the cutlery , I will return for an evening meal, I just felt there was not enough choice for lunch and as I said only starters not small plates .

too noisy, food was expensive for the quality and amount and the steak was chewy. Would not rush back and rather disappointed as the restaurant was kitted out to a high standard and service first class, but the noise level and food quality was poor for the price.

For a new restaurant we think they have done extremely well and as the staff gain more confidence it will improve.

Food was excellent and the service was very attentive. For the current situation that we are all in I think everyone at Whittles are doing a great job of keeping everyone safe so that we can still go out and have a great time.

We thorough enjoyed our visit to Whittles, food and service was really good. We will be returning.

Great food and great service, friendly staff and good atmosphere

Beautifully design restaurant serving excellent meals attended by very good staff. Will be returning to enjoy more in the future.

Unfortunately they only offer ‘small plates’ at lunchtime. Therefore there is only a choice of a starter and dessert. Very small portions. Asked for a side salad, which only consisted of lettuce with a vinegarette dressing. Dessert was dry and overcooked, so was returned. This restaurant has only been open a few weeks, and obviously there are issues to be ironed out. I felt the staff could have been more discreet, rather than huddling together too close to our table. However this will not put us off returning in future.

Good food, quite expensive. Staff very pleasant and attentive to us.
