For fabulous Lebanese cuisine in London, one simply has to make their way to Ya Hala in Brixton. This unique restaurant offers a wide variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes for their guests, all made using the best imported ingredients, seasonal produce and centuries-old recipes. Try one of their chicken shawarma sandwiches for lunch on the go, or stop in for dinner and enjoy some hearty moussaka or kofta meshwi (grilled skewers of seasoned minced lamb, parsley and onion). There’s plenty more where that came from, so make sure to book ahead and make your way over to Ya Hala on Coldharbour Lane.

Restaurant has changed owners, they did not recieve this booking. Service was poor and food was bland
Very good vegetarian platter; nice baklava and teas; nice chicken salad but small; not very good shawarma and and chicken shish tauk. It used to be much better. What happened there?
Lovely lunch that was perfect to share with a group. Our waiter was really friendly and had an impressive memory for orders! We were also pleased that we were able to take away leftovers as the portions were generous so we didn't finish everything, but hate leaving waste!
