I would like to thank everyone that served my boyfriend and I yesterday. They made him feel very special on his birthday, we will definitely be returning.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere and good venue. Will defo go again.

Lovely place with great food. I go here regularly and the service is always amazing. The owner isn’t lovely and always comes over for a chat. Highly recommended.

Ok!!!! This was my 3rd time! I’ve dined on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I’ve eaten inside, outside and upstairs and I can say on each occasion I’ve been equally impressed! Last night the tunes were wicked especially when the rare groove played, nice one DJ!! My friends were equally impressed however a small suggestion from one; maybe to have the music a little lower as we were shouting at times! That could’ve been due to the fact we were upstairs as downstairs on my previous visits the music was at a descent level! On the whole, more than satisfied with the service and the food! Staff: very attentive, all look happy to work at the restaurant and seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with customers! The manager/owner, lovely man- he welcomes you so warmly, firm hand shake, makes time to speak to customers, not over bearing and most importantly he speaks to his staff with respect! On the food: the meat and fish are 100% good quality, a quality your taste buds will identify, starters are amazing, the best calamari I’ve ever had (might have said that previously)! The dessert was mmmmmm😋😋😋 the only reason I couldn’t finish it was because I was so full from the main-and I waited an hour between (my choice) to digest my main! The waiters asked how long between meals did we want to wait which was considerate, so we didn’t feel rushed! We sat comfortably for 4 hours! You can read all the reviews you like but you need to experience this place for yourself to be a part of the reviewing! Oh one thing I’m gutted about- I didn’t take my photo on the swing (it doesn’t move) 🙁 that’s nothing to do with the restaurant I just forgot 😂 So make sure you get some pics on it when you go: it looks lovely and many were getting there’s taken! On that note, We shall be returning as will many more of my family and friends! I hope you enjoy as much as I have! 🙂

Love this restaurant, the staff, food, cocktails, service and atmosphere was all amazing. The owner always has time to come over a have a chat, ask your opinion on how the service and food is. They never rush you, always happy to accommodate any requests you have regarding food or drinks. One of my favourite places to come.

Lovely night, as ever, with fabulous service and great food. Slightly marred by the 50th birthday party upstairs which was quite loud. Perhaps let people know if you have a party booked?

Fabulous food, wonderful staff made us all feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Even made up a bday dessert plate for my husband. Beetroot risotto yummy. Definitely one to return to.

The restaurant was lovely, we (2 of us) were however place under the open window where people outside were smoking and also very, very close to a table of 4. The first waiter got our order wrong and we had to ask for a glass of water three times. The food was excellent.

A restaurant going from strength to strength! This is my fifth or sixth time at Yaz now, which is relatively new still, and they have now nailed the menu and staffing. The team are very welcoming and the food is excellent. That, coupled with the design and ambience of the restaurant makes it a very pleasant place to be indeed. See you again soon!

Food was wonderful but the service was outstanding - not 'in your face' but very attentive and polite.

Great local Turkish place with a delicious mix of traditional dishes and more modern twists. Good cocktails, friendly service and outdoor space (if not the most scenic view.) Casual vibe downstairs with unexpected techno rave atmosphere upstairs - something for everyone!

Lovely food, great venue - sat on the terrace. However, service was slow, the waiter apologised for putting the order through incorrectly leading to a delay but didn’t offer a compensatory drink or the like. I also think the food is overpriced for what you get.

The service was spot on. Food was delicious full of flavour. Staff were great with my friends little girl, who got a little board. They brought her strawberries and tried to talk and play with her. Lovely atmosphere lovely staff. We will defo go again and recommend to friends and family.

We went for brunch on Father’s Day..... the food was amazing...... really enjoyed it.... the service was slow but suspect this was due to It being Father’s Day...... so we were more tolerant then I’d normally be with waiting 😂

Staff were very attentive, the food was lovely and after we’d eaten we went upstairs to the bar area and sat and had a drink. The bar area was beautiful you could even just sit and have a drink and not eat in the restaurant. A lovely edition to Highams Park.
