The lift should be fixed as quickly as possible - the restaurant is not user-friendly in that guests have to walk down the stair cases to the ground floor to eat. Also, without sounding biased against non-Japanese speaking staff I think one of the receptionists should be someone who understands the Japanese étiquette and culture. Today was my first visit and I was rather dumbfounded when told, “No soba noodles here”., even before I asked her about anything. I know Yen in Paris, which is a much more small and modest establishment, serves udon and soba but
It was lovely, both the food and the staff everywhere
Wagyu steak was cooked nicely and it was tender. The sushi was pretty good though I was expecting slightly more high-end neta for the premium sushi set like hotate, unagi or kampachi. The seafood chawanmushi was really yummy and chocked full of ingredients which I appreciated :)
Lunch time express menu was great value. Would definitely go again
Amazing service, lovely atmosphere/ambience and wonderful food! Will definitely go again!
The food excellent the decoration very relaxing and the service was very good
Not authentic! Fusion Japanese restaurant, more chefs than in house guests!
Very attentive service. Good advice on wine and food. Eel rice really delicious.
Quiet and cozy, great decor, true to Japanese culture. Simple and elegant food, and the cute little brush for the soy sauce is an extra fun bonus. Food quality is great and prices reasonable. Will definitely be coming again!
