Had a really nice time with my partner, food was lovely aside from a few grissly bits on the steak. Had to complain about that. Didn't want to spend £20 on a steak for it to be grissly.

Great food as always. Lovely steaks but the menu seems to have been reduced to mostly steaks and burgers (which you expect from a steak house but I'm sure there used to be alternatives?) Food was greatly appreciated but the service wasn't as good as it was (maybe just a bad night)

Great food, excellent friendly staff. Recommended. WE came on recommendation with friends from the USA. If they enjoyed the experience, they must be doing something right.

Exceptional service! You waiters are awesome and so down to earth! Very impressed! I came before I lived it then. Then obviously came again and have come away with exactly the same thoughts!!

Really good food, great decor and friendly staff. I can certainly recommend their "build your own" burgers as the way to go with some dirty fries covered in bacon and cheese.

The food was lovely but the service was quite slow and they forgot one of the drinks orders. Quite pricey for what it is but still enjoyed it.

Good food, some of the service sketchy but fine overall. Steaks cooked to order well and good choice of wines to go with the steaks.

Lovely food and a good selection of drinks, nice relaxed atmosphere. Waiting staff were very helpful and knowledgeable too, will be going again in the near future

We were a group of 5 and we all had clean plates on our mains the s'mores and churros were to much they beats us. The service was great

Food was amazing, cocktails fairly average, well priced, staff ok but tables were really sticky and not pleasant. When mentioned to the staff we were asked what we wanted them to do about it in a confused way. Manager came over to apologize and said was varnished and they can't do anything about it other then leave our menus as table mats.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and it was relatively busy though not packed. Was really. Okay when we first arrived but it quitened down soon. The wait for out drinks order was a bit long, and they got one of the orders slightly wrong. But the waitress and the sever were very apologetic and the service was good otherwise. We all enjoyed our burgers and left the place absolutely stuffed.

Small problem with food sorted out with great charm. The mark of a good place is how these things are dealt with, so 10 out of 10 for Gridiron, Cheltenham. Delicious burger, churros and chocolate. Thoroughly rcommend this place :-)

Great food and the service was fabulous will be back soon! Menu is a little limited to what it used to be but as long as your a meat eater will find plenty of choice

Fabulous meal and atmosphere. The hot wings were really hot and spicy - so many purport to be hot and end up disappointing. The steak was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. A simply brilliant experience👍

Great atmosphere, friendly service, seated quickly with a selection of where we would like to sit. Drinks however took a long time to come and was not provided with the usual plate of popcorn and jug of water like the times I had been before, however still a good time for my birthday meal.

Great food and great service the staff were friendly and polite, a very pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable prices on everything. I Will be returning again soon.

We arrived on time and we were promptly seated at our table. The restaurant was busy but not full. The table was sticky, and wobbly. Our waitress came and took our drinks order which took about 10 minutes to reach us. After a while she returned and took our food order. This took approximately 30mins to reach us. But while we were waiting we looked around. We had no Candle on the table every other table did, we were also were not offered complimentary popcorn. We ordered another round of drinks this took us 15 minutes to get to us, by this time our food had arrived and we were halfway through eating it. We were told that the restaurant was very busy by two waiters. This is not what we wanted to hear. We weren't asked if the food was ok just left to get on with our meal. Which was lovely. Our plates were cleared away, we weren't offered a dessert menu either. So we asked for the bill and left. We left no tip as we feel the service was very poor and lacking in customer service. We booked a meal here to celebrate our anniversary and we're looking forward to it. But we left feeling disappointed by the experience.

We found that the best was the fast friendly service steaks were great and the smorg pudding was the very best we have ever had

Service a little slow when we were almost first in - last to be served. A little random in taking of orders for food & drink - asked twice for food & only half of party served with drinks. Food however was excellent

EXCELLENT MEAL, FRIENDLY AND QUICK SERVICE. GOOD FOR A SOCIAL WITH OLDER TEENAGERS. BOOKING PROCESS ONLINE WAS VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. IF YOU'RE DRIVING THE MOCKTAILS ARE EXCELLENT.

Excellent as ever. Great setting. Great food. Great service. If you like burgers, steaks, ribs then you'll love Grid Iron. Why twenty five words? Random.

It was about as cold inside as out. Bottle of red wine served ice cold - yuk. Service extremely slow given they weren't busy. Squid starter def elastic bands and too much batter. Mains OK though veg side dishes massively over-seasoned. A disappointment for the last day of the hols.

Food all freshly prepared and of a high quality. Everything for our party of 6 arrived at the table together. Friendly and genuinely helpful staff. We weren't rushed and our 12 year old loved the football table! would recommend and will definitely eat there again.

Nice food just not very seasoned and quite greasy. The fries are a bit bland. Would come here again to try the steaks though as only had burger.

Really nice place. Staff were great. Found it really expensive! To have a 7oz fillet steak it was £25 then I had to pay for fries on top + sides + sauce so it was £30+ just for my main. Wasn't the best steak I've had either. Won't be rushing back only due to cost!

The last time I went I loved it but this time it did not live up to expectations! The meat was tough and stringy. The tables felt like they'd been covered In glue. Unfortunately I won't be dining there again however the servers were lovely.

Food was an exceptional standard, thoroughly enjoyed it. The only criticism was the service was initially slow to begin with, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.

Food was really tasty and large portions Waiter was a little clumsy spilt beer over our table and wasn't going to replace beer until my other half mentioned it Thought Popcorn snack was a nice little touch while reading menu

Great food - really delicious and reasonably priced. We can recommend the the beef and the chicken burgers. The Service was friendly. We would go back again!

the restaurant itself is well presented, there is a good selection of beverages and great selection of good food. The service and food was great and good value for money, we will definitely be going again.

We arrived slightly early and our table was still occupied - when the other party left it didn't take too long to be sat. However, we weren't given drinks menus and we had to ask for them as no one seemed to bring them. Finally we ordered drinks and then food - they all came quickly and the quality was good. All in all, food was great, but lacking a bit in customer service.

Very efficient staff...good food but pricey....too noisy for us. Would go again but at quieter/less busy times. Dont need loud music and loud chat..background music would be good.

Excellent food quality and lovely staff too. Highly recommended and will visit again. We particularly liked the onion rings, you must try them! Made to feel very welcome and seemed good value considering the quality of food was high.

Very quiet but it was a Monday night. Steaks were good if a little strangely priced (expensive for some cuts). Dirty fries were great, large portions too. Service was a little hit and miss, had to ask twice for some things and wrong desert delivered. Overall I'd say it was good food but a bit expensive.

Good food, fairly good service. One member of our party ordered 3 mini pint size taster beers and after they eventually turned up they were just placed in front of us with no explanation as to which was what, so that was disappointing. Everything else was fine.
