Tucked away over in Kelvinside, 111 by Nico provides an exquisite dining experience on an unassuming street in Glasgow’s West End. The vision of chef Nico, 111 by Nico employs troubled young people, teaches them about the gift of cooking and helps to turn their lives around. Not only does this stylish restaurant have a conscience, but the delectable European dishes served up have the crowds coming back for more and more too. Book a table and head over to Cleveden Road to find out what the fuss is all about!
An interesting wee place- would recommend. A couple of wee things to iron out to be outstanding. My husband's main (the pork belly and fillet) had a bit of strange tang to it and my hake was ok. Duck starter was super tasty creme brûlée and lemon tart desserts were excellent. Also the amuse bouche of a tiny mushroom soup was delicious! Overall worth a visit reasonably priced for high quality cooking!
The service from entering to leaving was excellent. The food was first class with something for everyone. I have no hesitation in recommending 111 by Nico for a great night.
Another excellent meal at 111. Second visit and second time having the tasting menu which is superb value for money. We arrived at around 8.20/8.25 for an 8.30 booking. Our table wasn't ready and they were very apologetic, at 8.33 we were given a complimentary glass of prosecco each and our table was ready 5 mins later. Excellent customer service that will guarantee a return visit.
