Food was amazing & came very quickly & was tasty & hot. Had 3 different roast dinners. Staff very friendly, & recognised us from a previous visit. Had a couple of drinks. A wonderful Sunday afternoon. Very good value for money & we would definitely go again.
Gorgeous food, lovely surroundings, brilliant service. Would recommend to all.
Nice for a bite to eat, if the football is on and you want a quiet meal, this is not the place to go
Good food, beer and atmosphere, but the main bonus was the staff. Absolutely amazing service. Well done, all!
Gorgeous roast with great wine. Cocktails great too. Lovely evening
Great food and drinks, pity it folded, lovely friendly staff
Great food. Amazing atmosphere would visit here again sometime in the future
Food was excellent and good value given its quality however service was a bit hit and miss. 2 of 3 starters brought out over 5 minutes before the third and the olives and bread ordered for pre meal came out in between starters. Also the area we were sat was quite chilly. Despite minor issues the superb food will ensure a return visit.
Excellent food and service - lovely people too especially the waitress
We booked a table for 6 on sat 26 Nov 8.15pm for a family meal. Service & food excellent. Dawn who showed us to our table & took our order was very professional & friendly. It was busy which added to a great atmosphere with live music. Highly recommended. We all had a great night.
Upon arrival we ordered drinks at the bar whilst waiting to be seated. The bar area was nice but the seating wasn’t, the benches are too high which was uncomfortable as nowhere to rest your feet. Once seated around the corner we were sat in complete darkness, and I mean, couldn’t see the menu it was so dark! I asked the waitress to light the candle but didn’t help. We asked to move back to the bar area as better lighting there and once seated she reeled off lots of items that weren’t available on the menu. Wine came, was warm and not nice at all, then we decided not to eat there and when we explained this to the waitress she said ‘yeah I don’t blame you I wouldn’t either’ which kind of said it all. We ended up at the Green Lodge!
I went on a Friday evening with friends. It’s a mix of sports bar + cocktail bar. Decor was OK, food was OK, just wasn’t as good as I expected. My friends food was burnt. Music came on + the band were amazing but so loud we couldn’t even talk so ended up leaving. Cocktails nice but small + over priced. Just feel it’s trying to find its identity but not there yet. Staff were lovely though.
Roast chicken and pork was lovely. Booking system not good
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were served our food in a timely manner and it was delivered with a smile. There were three of us and we each ordered two dishes and we weren’t able to finish everything. Most importantly, it all tasted delicious! We are looking forward to returning for a meal in the near future.
The food was good and the service too. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Great food, drink and atmosphere, plenty of screens to watch the Football.
