We went for my birthday me and my daughter food was lovely and staff were friendly
service was great and very quick. food was amazing ad usual. 1 of the best places to go to for food.
Quick service but felt rushed maybe because it was mother’s day and they were trying to get as many tables ready to use again
Great food, fantastic views and amazing value - love coming here
Nice food served well. Wine list could do with more variety.
Atmosphere was rubbish, food basic and the cocktails not nice .
We went for the 5er menu which was advertised yet were told it wasn’t on. I won’t go back to somewhere or recommend it if they use false advertising.
Excellent value and food. Will be back again soon. Very enjoyable experience.
Lovely food and view for our french visitor, will be back
Gorgeous food and excellent service we will be back soon
Staff where all very nice. Had a very long wait on the main course, tasted very good tho when it finally came.
Lovely meal and atmosphere. Got a window seat with sea view.
Excellent food- quite a long wait between starter and main course
Great meal. Service was first class Excellent always thank you
Very quick service. Tasty food at a great price. Will be back
We were warmly welcomed. Service was good. Just too much food and I hate waste so smaller helpings might be offered?
Such good food and value in here we love it
Good fast service and good food, just a pity about all the extra charges
Was my birthday meal cheap cocktails and 2 course meal for price of main , the starters were very small but I guess u get what u pay for
Fantastic service and delicious food. Window seat with an amazing sea view!!
Great food, nice atmosphere, polite and friendly staff. Lovely menu and speedy service.
Friendly helpful staff, good menu, good service, good food, great view.
fantastic food and service, i would highly recommend !!! 😊
Absolutely brilliant environment with fantastic food and service denfinately will be back
Great food and service would definitely go back and encourage others to do the same!
Staff were great even though it was very busy. Food was good too and great value for money. The view out across east strand was great and a nice touch from the restaurant ro give my son some binoculars to use too!!
The cocktails were delicious, very fresh. The food was good. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed at the chewy texture of the chicken, it was not as tender as I would have expected. Three courses for the price of the main is brilliant however I wouldn't have paid £5 for a started that only had one spring roll. I was disappointed over all because I expected more especially when the place was so popular.
Great food with nice friendly staff lovely experience ,also very reasonably priced will certainly be back.👍
great food and good selection of drinks at very competitive price. staff very friendly and helpful with menu selection. will definitely be back
Food was fantastic! Will go there again, we loved it.
Great food . Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money and service excellent
The food was not bad, great service. The view outside was superb. But the restaurant is crowded, so make sure you book your seat beforehand.
There is a 3 course special. It is good value if you want to have 3 courses but if you just want to have a main it is quite expensive as mains are around £15. You get a starter and dessert free with a main but if you didn't want a starter and dessert that is quite expensive for just your main. The food is good quality.
Definitely a must if your in Portrush! Great food, lovely staff and great location too! The view out to sea is amazing! My kids loved it! Book your table in advance!
Food really good but was disappointed that £8 deal wasn't explained to us as Bill resulted in being more than I expected it to be
We had a warm welcome we had 3 young children with us staff where very helpful gentleman who greeted us was warm and friendly we even got binoculars to look at the stunning views from the window. Food was fab and great value too!
Starters were quick.. too quick to be freshly prepared but ok. Mains -mussels and crab claws were good Restaurant seemed tired and in need of freshening the fittings. Bench coveings splitting and worn out carpets. Overall fine a reasonable value
Third visit to 55⁰ north and the best experience yet. Food was lovely and service excellent. Definitely a step in the right direction as far as service is concerned and food was excellent as usual.
Disappointed with the seating arrangements for 2 people meaning we were sandwiched between 2 other people on either side of us. This affected the ambience of dining out in a beautiful location. When we asked if we could have one of the tables for 2 at the side window we were told no and also we could not have one of the tables at the main window because this was for 4 people. Approximately 10 mins after being seated 2 separate couples were seated at 2 the tables for 4 at the main window, so is it a case of who you are? That depends on the seating? Dining out for us is a special treat and not a weekly event. Also the food was a little disappointing as it was not warm enough. I ordered the deep fried Brie for starter and it was not cooked the Brie was still in its block form and had not melted so obviously was put in the fryer and straight back out. So I would like to understand how a couple can secure a table with a view as this would make our dining experience worthwhile.
55 North as usual has excellent food, good prices and staff that offer excellent customer service. Would highly recommend this restaurant but advise u book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
