Excellent food and service in a great atmosphere at a great price.

The food was fabulous and the service was great and the decor was also good. However I found one major drawback which was that once the restaurant became full the noise level became such that normal conversation became almost impossible. I think that a carpet rather than a hard wood floor would make a big difference.

We will definitely be back. The food was traditional and delicious, we started with the nan bread basket, hummus and halumi - highly recommend all of these especially the hummus. For main I had the Barg (tender lamb slices) and my partner had the Chenjeh (juicy chunks of lamb) both were cooked to perfection. So many options available and the kindest staff. Couldn’t fault our experience, if you haven’t been, go check it out for a comfortable, cosy and tasty night out.

Been to Taste of Persia a few times. Never disappoints. Lovely staff and good quality portions of food. Well priced . It was quiet on last visit but has good atmosphere when busy.

What a lovely meal. We've eaten several times at the Marlborough Crescent restaurant but this was our first visit to its Jesmond counterpart. Food every bit as delicious as expected, staff attentive, all in line with our previous experience. The restaurant itself is light and airy, lovely atmosphere.

Excellent meal, very good value, pleasantly served. We’ve eaten here several times and always been very pleased. Good range of choice on menu. Same as city centre branch but this one probably the better of the two.

Delicious food and quick friendly service. One of my favourite places to eat in Newcastle because of the great quality and value. It is also walking distance from Jesmond metro station.

Beautiful food, tasty, polite and thoughtful service, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Those who haven't experienced middle eastern cuisine before should consider beginning their adventure here.

Great meal, as always. The food is always good and the staff are always friendly. Our party had a range of different foods from the menu . Chicken stew, sea bass and chicken and lamb skewers, all delicious. The baklava and pistachio and saffron ice cream were amazing!!. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful, happy, efficient, very background Persian music (relaxing) and most of all marvelous food and service. We have been 4 or 5 times and brought friends on all but one of these. Praise from all of them has been absolutely unanimous too.

Very good food, terrific service. Their Persian quisine is genuinely different and very tasty / healthy. Also, the best ‘Turkish’ delight you will find in the Toon.
