We will definitely be back. The food was traditional and delicious, we started with the nan bread basket, hummus and halumi - highly recommend all of these especially the hummus. For main I had the Barg (tender lamb slices) and my partner had the Chenjeh (juicy chunks of lamb) both were cooked to perfection. So many options available and the kindest staff. Couldn’t fault our experience, if you haven’t been, go check it out for a comfortable, cosy and tasty night out.

Been to Taste of Persia a few times. Never disappoints. Lovely staff and good quality portions of food. Well priced . It was quiet on last visit but has good atmosphere when busy.

What a lovely meal. We've eaten several times at the Marlborough Crescent restaurant but this was our first visit to its Jesmond counterpart. Food every bit as delicious as expected, staff attentive, all in line with our previous experience. The restaurant itself is light and airy, lovely atmosphere.

Excellent meal, very good value, pleasantly served. We’ve eaten here several times and always been very pleased. Good range of choice on menu. Same as city centre branch but this one probably the better of the two.

Delicious food and quick friendly service. One of my favourite places to eat in Newcastle because of the great quality and value. It is also walking distance from Jesmond metro station.

Great meal, as always. The food is always good and the staff are always friendly. Our party had a range of different foods from the menu . Chicken stew, sea bass and chicken and lamb skewers, all delicious. The baklava and pistachio and saffron ice cream were amazing!!. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful, happy, efficient, very background Persian music (relaxing) and most of all marvelous food and service. We have been 4 or 5 times and brought friends on all but one of these. Praise from all of them has been absolutely unanimous too.

Very good food, terrific service. Their Persian quisine is genuinely different and very tasty / healthy. Also, the best ‘Turkish’ delight you will find in the Toon.

Our visitors, from around the country, had a lovely time and thought the food was delicious. The variety of foods was good and suited our vegetarian guests perfectly. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Excellent food and friendly staff. The only minor gripe was that it was a Monday evening and very quiet - hardly the restaurant’s fault though.

The service was excellent. The food, fresh beautifully presented and rich in flavour. We had a selection of starters, main and drinks, local beer! The prices are low and you get lots of plates of food. A great experience that we will surely return soon

Fantastic value, and even better during Happy Hour. Excellent wine, great service with very friendly waiting staff and a very unusual menu. They have a sister restaurant in the centre of Newcastle.

There is a wide range of stews or grills to choose from .All the dishes we chose were delicious and well presented .The seating/table were comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive without being fussy.
