It’s a narrow space cluttered with tables, decorations, a cool bar and Ethiopian artefacts, so it feels cosy and familial as soon as you enter Addis Ababa Restaurant, and there’s no way to isolate yourself or your dining party into a secluded corner – here, it’s all about sharing a good time, as is the Ethiopian way. Ditch your knife and fork and use your hands to do it the proper way, always best enjoyed with a few friends around some pretty special stews, meat dishes and vegetarian creations celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Ethiopia. Found on Seven Sisters Road in North London – an easy walk from Falconer Walk, Finsbury Park overground and Arsenal underground – Addis Ababa beckons to those looking for an easy, welcoming escape into Ethiopian food.
The restaurant had not been notified of our reservation. However, after a short wait they were able to accommodate us and the food was delicious, as always. Thank you.
