Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Despite any suggestions from the name, Agenda 87 should certainly be at the very top of your agenda if you’re around Shawlands in Glasgow. It’s a restaurant and bar with a whole load of style and you’ll be taken aback by the cool glass exterior that brings calm and composure to the bustle of Kilmarnock Road. Inside, it’s much the same story, with contemporary decor that complements a fusion menu of International cuisines. This is a beautiful spot for casual dining with hint of a luxury, and the fullness of the bar and knowledge of the staff only adds to this unique Glasgow dining experience.
Not too impressed. I like to support local places but a cold hamburger is not nice. Also too pricey for lunch. There are better places nearby.
Starter was tasty but was ruined as it wasn't hot enough. We had a very long wait on main meals, pizza was not bad Parma ham was lovely but pizzas need to have a thinner crispier base. Bar downstairs was a winner lovely staff and good atmosphere.
Great style, menu, location and friendly staff. Will definitely be back . Had an Itison voucher but the general prices reflect great value for money
Leading into the very heart of Glasgow, Kilmarnock Road is busy and packed full of places to drink and dine. None, however, are quite like Agenda 87. Why? Because at Agenda 87 there’s style and there’s substance – a combination that’s often hard to come by in Shawlands. We’ll start with the decor. Expect exposed brick walls and original iron beams, as well as sophisticated green leather and low lighting. Agenda 87 feels like a VIP experience, regardless of when you’re stopping by. The well-stock bar takes centre stage, with well-spaced seating surrounding it. Agenda 87 offers a stunning environment to enjoy a menu that fuses the best flavours from all around the world.
The pizzas are the big hitters on the Italian side of the menu as all doughs are made with a special blend of imported flours and allowed to rise for at least 48 hours. The monza is one not to miss, topped with chicken breast, Italian sausage and pepperoni, but if meat isn’t your thing then Greco, with mozzarella, red peppers, olives, rocket and feta is refreshing and light. This Glasgow hotspot also serves gourmet burgers and foot-long hot dogs, while some additional favourites include grilled sea bass, Thai green curry and the classic fish and chips, in this case beer battered haddock. It’s very hard to overstate how good the International menu at Agenda 87 is, but if you’re in or around Shawlands, you simply have to try it.
