Thinking about making a Agenda 87 booking?
Leading into the very heart of Glasgow, Kilmarnock Road is busy and packed full of places to drink and dine. None, however, are quite like Agenda 87. Why? Because at Agenda 87 there’s style and there’s substance – a combination that’s often hard to come by in Shawlands. We’ll start with the decor. Expect exposed brick walls and original iron beams, as well as sophisticated green leather and low lighting. Agenda 87 feels like a VIP experience, regardless of when you’re stopping by. The well-stock bar takes centre stage, with well-spaced seating surrounding it. Agenda 87 offers a stunning environment to enjoy a menu that fuses the best flavours from all around the world.
The pizzas are the big hitters on the Italian side of the menu as all doughs are made with a special blend of imported flours and allowed to rise for at least 48 hours. The monza is one not to miss, topped with chicken breast, Italian sausage and pepperoni, but if meat isn’t your thing then Greco, with mozzarella, red peppers, olives, rocket and feta is refreshing and light. This Glasgow hotspot also serves gourmet burgers and foot-long hot dogs, while some additional favourites include grilled sea bass, Thai green curry and the classic fish and chips, in this case beer battered haddock. It’s very hard to overstate how good the International menu at Agenda 87 is, but if you’re in or around Shawlands, you simply have to try it.
