Without doubt one of the best curries in London and has been since I first visited in 1970.

We enjoyed our visit. There were less people than originally booked, but the restaurant didn't mind. The food was excellent and served quickly, and the prices were very reasonable. All in all, it was excellent.

Had a good time as a party of 7. No frills curry house with plain decor and furniture. Decent food for a fair price. Would happily return. We paid £35 per head which is very fair for this great location. Tried a wide variety of dishes and we were all happy.

I love this restaurant! It is an absolute gem which I hadn't visited in a while due to working from home. But last night, I went for a lovely meal with 3 mates and cannot recommend The Agra more highly. The owners are lovely people with the restaurant having been in the family for many years. The food is utterly stunning, irrespective of what is ordered. Very flavoursome, good portions and presented well. How restaurants should be! For the quality provided, I think the food is inexpensive. I gather that business is down due to the economic situation but urge longer-standing patrons to return and newer customers to visit. This is one of London's hidden gems!

Our favorite Indian restaurant - great food and lovely owners who take great care of their customers - and you HAVE to try their Tandoori chicken - they make it with 11 spices and it’s delicious and easily the best in London. My mother has been going here since 1964 - enough said!

The food at the Agra is excellent, but I am particularly a fan of their Chicken Naga dish. It is a hot curry but has this wonderful subtle smoky element that elevates it above most other curries. But it is all fantastic and the staff are really nice too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Agra serves the best tandoori chicken in London and has done so for over 60 years. You HAVE to try it! It's not the usual dried up, small pieces of chicken you probably have seen before and is just as good as a fancy "Dishoom' style curry at a fraction of the price. Seriously. My family started coming here (just for the tandoori chicken!) in the 1960s and I have taken on the baton and introduced dozens of friends over the years. It's really worth trying. The nan bread is also exceptional.

A hidden gem, one of the oldest surviving Indian restaurants in the UK. The food is fantastic. It's a simple, well run, friendly family place, totally unpretentious and never disappoints.
