Getting use to the new management having been with Ali since he first opened!!!! Food was excellent, and can't get over the new bathroom facilities up stairs
Nearing the end of the meal - the manager came up to us and merely said 'right you are going now - your time is up' and 'kicked us out'. We were made to feel very unwelcome. The food was OK, but no better than any of the many other Indian restaurants down the road. I would never return, and intend to tell everyone I know about my experience.
Excellent food, well presented and far too much!!! I still miss Ali's personal touch but staff were very helpful. I have a customer for over 20 years, I hope to be for another 20 years!!!
Absolutely fantastic. Service is always great but its all about the food. Quality ingredients cooked with skill and experience. There's no holding back on the portion sizes either. The 3 of us ordered a curry each with rice and a couple of naans, plus a couple of onion bahjis......couldn't eat it all. Left overs were nicely packaged up for us to take home and enjoy the following night!
Consistently good food and friendly staff. Such a lot of choices for Indian food within a few yards on Magdalen Street. The Ali Tandoori never disappoints.
Excellent traditional Indian super tasty food chicken curry we had was first class and great service . Will definitely be making a return trip soon.
This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been in - I've been eating here for over twenty years and the standard of food is first class. The staff are friendly and attentive. Look forward to eating here for another twenty years.
