We had a superb lunch today at the Amalfi, the bruschetta and ravioli were amazing, really fresh and appetising. My husband had the pollo and said that was delicious too. We were with our nieces who live in London and their opinion was that a. it was the best Italian restaurant food they've ever had and b. they would like to live next door to the Amalfi!
This is the second time we have been to the Amalfi, the first being just after they opened to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First class service, fantastic food being run by a genuine and lovely family who provide most enjoyable authentic Italian food. Tonight was to celebrate my Wife's 50th birthday, just as the first our meal was exceptional. Thank you Amalfi see you again soon.
I went for lunch with my girlfriend and we ate one of the best Spaghetti allo Scoglio we ever had since we moved in England. Jessica, the owner, was looking after us and all the members of the staff were lovely. We were sitting by the window overlooking the street and it was so nice and quite, not a sound coming from outside. Such a nice experience. We will definitely come back to try pizzas!
Food came so quickly. Portion size was impressive. Even though busy and full,it wasn’t too noisy. Just wish the smokers who insist in smoking right outside the front door has the courtesy and decency to shut the door after they went through. But this is our second visit in two months and it still continues to be amongst our faves
Have now been to amalfi twice with friends for an evening meal. Both times the food has been excellent. Flavour and spices in food are deliciously perfect. The staff are all so friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. Will definitely be going back and have recommended it to friends and family . Thank you amalfi
We had an early booking and I felt a bit rushed for my meal choice. I would have liked a bit longer to peruse the menu. Also I had flat spaghetti with Lobster which did not have much meat and I was also served up the part of Lobster that you shouldn’t eat. My husband had a good meal though
