Led by husband and wife team Peter and Nicola Leyland-Jones, Lanes of Lymington crafts British food from seasonal and local ingredients. Split over multiple floors in a former church and school building, the vibe is certainly intimate and romantic. The menu is varied but you can expect the freshest fish dishes thanks to the excellent location on the south coast. Those with a sweet tooth will also be right at home. The dessert menu is always long and the cakes and pastries truly look as good as they taste. The owner’s passion is clear to see in both the food and decor here, making a trip to Lanes of Lymington a real treat.

Staff were extremely friendly, service was very quick food was piping hot and fresh. The food and wine is a little pricey but completely worth it and certainly would return and recommend.
Lovely food, lovely people but we found it a bit chilly, especially the women.
An excellent overall experience. Noise a little high at times, but we had been warned it was a party night so no complaints. My partner found the temperature a little cool. We will go again.
