Good service, if a bit slow when they're busy. Really friendly staff. Lovely food with an interesting menu that changes seasonally. One of my favourite restaurants in Leeds.

I had lunch here with my granddaughter, aged 11. We both enjoyed ourselves and the food was good. I had a sandwich with soup, and Aimee had a burger on a brioche bun which she loved. The prices were reasonable, the surroundings were very pleasant, and the waiter was nice. No complaints. I suggest you pay a visit.

The staff were really friendly and the restaurant had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and it was great value for money. I highly recommend.

Great service, great surroundings, good choice of wine. Varied menu. Food generally excellent, the Hake dish could be improved by being slightly less mono tonal - i.e. a large quantity of butter beans which are quite filling, so a few less and another balancing ingredient would be welcome.

Very nice lunch, with polite staff and fast service. What more could you want, when you are popping out from work for a bite to eat with a customer.

We had the early bird menu. There was a good choice and the quality of the food Was. Service was very friendly and there was relaxed atmosphere - no rushing you from the table.

For anyone in leeds - or anyone visiting leeds for that matter...who's never been to Arts....Go. It's the most perfect restaurant...with the most perfect food, in the most perfect atmosphere with the most incredible staff. go. honestly. you'll thank me of it.

Friendly welcome, relaxed environment-took time to choose drinks and meals-any questions we had were answered with no bother. There was a reasonable selection of vegetarian options and the starters, mains and puddings were all decent portions but more than that...the flavour combinations and presentations were first class. A lovely ambience...mixed crowd; small groups, couples, older and younger..and enough table space for privacy from fellow eaters....we ate at 6pm on a Saturday evening....and we had a perfect time. We stayed a good couple of hours and weren't rushed on...£70 bill for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 pudding and total bill included a £23 bottle of prosecco...top marks from us....

Second time I've been here and have enjoyed it both times. Menu changes regularly and always a great selection of dishes to choose from. Friendly staff and lovely surroundings.

This place is a great find, and what makes this place really fantastic is its ability to consistently deliver great food and great service at a reasonable price.

Superb food, great service. A little quiet when we arrived, but we were there for a 5:30pm booking and soon filled up with the pre-theatre crowd. Highly recommended, been coming for years and consistently great.

Fantastic food and great service. The quality of food was first class. Great selection if sea food. It was served on time. We had sufficient time between each course. Whenever we wanted a drink there was always somwone there to take our order. Will definitely return soon.

Good food with efficient and friendly service. Culdnt taste the truffle in the bourgignon but this is a minor quibble. Good restaurant to have a conversation as music very quiet and the space is not cavernous but cosy.

Consistently good. Food delicious and the atmosphere convivial. Despite the room being small it doesn't feel as if you are squeezed in like some small restaurants can do. And you are never hurried. Very good.

Fantastic food and excellent service for our table of four. My partner had the slow braised brisket with bread and hummus, which we thought was an unusual combination but worked surprisingly well. The couple who joined us had the spinach and feta filo pie, which looked on the small side compared to some of the other portions but turned out to be a very adequate portion, and the goats cheese fritters with ratatouille, both of which were fantastic, particularly the fritter. I had the pan fried chicken bread with Jerusalem artichoke and wild mushroom gnocchi - I wouldn't usually order chicken in a restaurant, especially chicken breast, but I was swayed by the gnocchi and I wasn't disappointed. The dish was absolutely sublime and the chicory complimented it perfectly. To finish, we all shared a portion of black treacle ice cream. We were too full for pudding but couldn't resist trying this ice cream as none of us had tried it before. The flavour was absolutely incredible, one of my friends described it as tasting like bonfire night in summer. We all had an excellent night, and on top of the food being delicious it was also very good value for money. We had a couple of drinks each and the bill came to just over £80. Will definitely be back soon!!

The ambience is very good, with a young vibe and plenty of buzz. The food was well presented and the service was spot on. I was impressed with the quality of the food and with a 50% discount on top for January it was a real deal!

Menu has plenty of choice and interesting combinations make for a tasty meal. We had a really great meal and will be returning very soon.

This restayrant has a fantastic atmosphere - it feels relaxed but buzzing at the same time. All our food was delicious, we will definitely be going back soon.

Lovely independent restaurant which offers a good value quality selection of dishes along with a good selection of drinks. We enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner very much.

Excellent food and good service. Music not too loud so could hold a conversation. Cosy surroundings and somewhat mainland European feel to the place. Vegetarians had a good choice of meals.
