Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Situated right in the heart of Glasgow on West Regent Street, Assam’s is conveniently located for satisfying your curry cravings after a day spent shopping, or for a special evening out in the city centre. With its sophisticated and modern decor, Assam’s is a step above Glasgow’s usual curry house offerings, and the menu boasts an array of exquisite North Indian dishes. From garlic chilli chicken to lamb tikka and king prawn tandoori, you’ll find all of your old favourites at Assam’s. We recommend the ginger lime fish curry (fresh haddock cooked with lashings of fresh ginger and lime) while vegetarians will find plenty of choice too, from saag paneer to vegetable curry. With its prime city centre location, Assam’s can get busy– book in advance to guarantee a table.
Nice place , although our table was in a dark corner and had to ask for a candle. Food good although not large portions. Last time for voucher was 6.00pm.
Dreadfully noisy, with drab, dark, depressing decor, and poor table service. It is either a pub or a restaurant. We most certainly won't be back.
First visit to restaurant in over one year. Food was ok, but we have had better in Assams. It will be a while before we will return.
