Food was tasty and very good portion. We enjoyed and will probably return

Servers were good however, they were let down by the kitchen. Food took to long to come out and when the main came out. The food was cold, the lamb was dry and not seansoned well enough, the rice was undercooked and the veg overcooked. For £50 per person, you'd expect better quality food and at least a drink to be included in the price. I'm actually wondering if the main was heated in the microwave.

Nice staff food good nice all round would go again

First time at Ates and I was very happy. Food was delicious especially the prawn starter. I ordered rib eye steak and the chef made a lovely mushroom sauce to go with it which was unexpected and delightful. The home made rice pudding was heavenly. Service was excellent; the girl who took our order and one of the guys who might have been an owner, very friendly and welcoming and you could see that they cared about people enjoying themselves and being happy with every aspect of their meals. I can’t wait to go back!
