lovely visit. we were in a booth so made it more intimate for us. will definitely go again - the tofu big plate was gorgeous!

My partner and i attended a meal for my 30th birthday and had the tasting menu. Everything from sushi to chicken to sea bass to deserts was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Wine was tasty and the Old Fasioned, my favourite cocktail, was the best I've ever had. Our waitress (possibly Libby?! Sorry if thats wrong!) was lovely and attentive and knowledgeable - thanks for making the meal so special.

Fantastic! Really attentive staff, amazing food! Beautiful place! Expensive, but worth it for a treat or special occasion... If you order Black Cod, it costs £30 & can come later, after you’ve eaten your meal (in our experience), so keep that in mind... That said it was lovely when it did arrive! The Sharing Platter we had was great, Still annoys me they only serve lager in bottles, which feels a little like profiteering. Give us pints... Other than that, fantastic!

Attended on 21st April with family for my Birthday. Returning customers to Australasia, therefore know what to expect. Overall the experience was very good, only one small hindereance with a waiter who seemed inexperienced and didn't appear to care too much about getting our drinks order correct, or even brought to the table. However all other staff were faultless. Food is outstanding here and extremely consistent time and time again. We will return again in the near future.

First visit. Very impressed with the food, service and decor. Will certainly come again.

The food was impeccable as expected, perhaps with the exception of the vegetable tempura which left a little to be desired. Our server Chris was polite and genuine without being overbearing ,as can sometimes be the case in more high end restaurants. We’ll be sure to visit again. Thank you for a lovely lunch experience.

Excellent service,lovely venue,srummy food .Perhaps a little overpriced but maybe it’s another example of getting what you pay for,and the experience is worthwhile for sure.

Wonderful staff, who are very helpful and attentive, going the extra mile to make the experience memorable. It's a very nice environment conducive to relaxed dining. The food is delicious and beautifully presented.

Great service and amazing food. I ordered the Cali rolls but asked for no duck due to being a pesceterian and the server happily swapped out the duck for a substitute. Will definitely be returning again soon

From being greeted on our arrival to saying goodby everything was just great. Charlotte our “server” was very helpful, polite and friendly. Food was fab as always. Enjoyed our mocktails. Front of house so lovely. The chefs did a great job and our food was delicious. Good choice too. Great ambience too. Would definitely highly recommend this restaurant . Not rushed either and everyone seemed happy to be working there. Couldn’t fault anything. Two very happy diners.

Great afternoon- Excellent food, service, wine. Perfect afternoon. Highly recommended! It’s our favourite in Manchester to visit. Didn’t try dessert or cocktails this time but will next time!

The attention was really good and the food amazing. I will back as soon as possible the only thing bad was that I did my deposit before go there of 20 pounds and then they didn't realise to discount in the bill but it wasn't a problem honestly the attention was incredible and they were quite polite with us.Definetly I'll go back.

Very friendly staffs, Anna who looked after us was perfect, she met all our needs. The presentation of the food is fantastic. Missing one point due to the sushi rice is not on authentic level.

Great atmosphere and interesting food. The décor is smart and inviting, in a great location in the heart of busy Deansgate. Will definitely be returning to this place.

Having eaten at Australasia for the last few months we have found it to one of the best for food service, and value for money. I would recommend that people give the restaurant a go, and see for themselves. We have eaten in some of the best restaurants in London, and it is up there with them.

Australia used to have amazing food. For me the quality of the food had gone down in recent years. The vegan menu is very average but the service, ambiance and cocktails are superb!

Lovely waiter, very polite and helpful, explaining the choices. Very tasty food...We shared a mixture of small plates. Only one not sure about was the coconut rice, which was very dense, but one of the accompanying sauces brought it to life.

Great food, service and atmosphere. The waitress was really helpful is suggesting what dishes would go well with each other. Would definitely go back!
