Balans Soho Society’s Seven Dials cafe in London’s theatre-filled Covent Garden district is an eatery that knows how to put on a show. The Monmouth Street restaurant proudly states as one of their mantras that their way to deal with outsiders is to invite them in for a drink, so whether you choose to drop by for a quick continental breakfast bite from the international menu, a late lunch of halloumi sweet potato cakes, or a splendidly-cooked sirloin steak for supper, you are sure to be welcomed with open arms. Conveniently located just a three-minute walk away from Covent Garden station, Balans’ proximity to the area’s iconic Seven Dials junction means it is the perfect spot for a pre-performance cocktail, an appetising dinner with friends, or to simply sit back with a large mug of coffee and watch the world go by. Really nice food and served quickly but not all of the staff were friendly. Would recommend for breakfast if staying near Covent Garden I had one pancake and it was enough
