More about Baltic, London

On Blackfriars Road in South East London is the ideal place for drinks before dinner, parties after work, pre or proper dinner, cocktail and canape parties. The great choice, that never fails to please is called Baltic Bar and is housed in an eighteen century former coach builder's works. And even though the charmful building has been redesigned, it never lost it's original character. A truly unique experience is waiting for you, the 40 foot wooden trussed ceilings, skylights and clean lines make dinning unforgettable. The cuisines of Eastern Europe from Poland to Russia, Hungary to Georgia are excellently prepared in the Baltic Restaurant. Dishes like the tasty Starter Kaszanka, grilled black Sausage with Potatoe Pancake, Apel and Onions, or Seared Scallops with Butter Beans, Fennel and Sweet Chilli Sauce quicken your appetite just right for the main course.

We recommend you the decent Bigos, polish hunter's Stew with Venison Pork, Beef, Sauerkraut and Potatoe Dumplings. Just as well is the Kulebiak, Salmon in Pastry baked with Mushrooms, Kasza and Spinach. A sweet addition like Ptasie Mleczko, soft Vanilla Marshmallow with Vodka Marinated Cherries and Chocolate Crisp makes the feats perfect. To speak of Vodka, the Baltic Bar provides over 60 varietys of that liked liquor. Served by the glass and carafe, straight from deep freeze in frozen glasses to you, the Baltic Team knows how to satisfy your thirst. It's even spezialised in their own flavoured Vodka, only using fresh fruit, herbs and spices. If you're looking for a Bar and Restaurants that can keep up with your high standarts, go to Blackfriar Road and visit the Baltic Bar.
