So much more than your average concert venue, Band on the Wall on Swan Street also features a restaurant known as The Picturehouse where you can indulge in some of Manchester’s best eats while drinking a number of tasty imported beers. This hip Northern Quarter dining spot is open every day of the week except for Wednesday and serves food from 5pm until 9pm, plus beer and drinks until late. On the menu you’ll be met with several different international options including the Jamaican-inspired jerk chicken, the Lebanese-style spicy lamb kofta or the Indian masala fried fish served with your choice of vegetarian curry. Whether you’re already catching a show at Band on the Wall or you’re just dropping in for a meal at The Picturehouse, a reservation is the best way to guarantee a table.
We had the spicy fish and chicken curry , both dishes were very good. Service was pleasant an attentive too. A really good experience followed by an excellent night in the club. Thank you!
Choice of only one veggie meal but the stew was really good and enjoyed the pineapple salsa on the side. It was very busy and they were only serving people who had booked a table.
Great to be able to eat at the same venue before seeing a band. Friendly staff and good value, tasty food. Will be back again and again.
