‘Make food, not war’ could be the motto of this Vietnamese restaurant in London’s Fitzrovia neighbourhood. Whether or not this is the ideology at work at Bang Ban Vietnamese Canteen, you’re certainly in for an explosive taste sensation, with the restaurant holding down a menu packed with Southeast Asian and Vietnamese dishes set to raze your tastebuds. Bangin’ steamed bun bao with chargrilled lemongrass pork or lime leaf chicken, slow-cooked pork belly or beef stew are reason enough to raid Bang Bang’s Warren Street address, while delicate Vietnamese salads dressed with nuoc cham vinaigrette, noodle, rice, and curry dishes, classic pho and spicy bun noodle soups give off a distinctly Indochine vibe. Well-connected to King’s Cross, Euston, and the Warren Street and Great Portland Street underground, aim true and book a table now.

The food was excellent and service was very friendly. Some of our party had to wait for their food when the rest had almost finished, so it would be good if food could come at similar times. Overall great place and value for money!
Great food. Service ok apart from the wait to pay.
