Really fab menu, and great food, unfortunately we had really rubbish service due to completely uninterested staff so food and drinks took an age to come and was a struggle to get and pay the bill

Lovely food but the service was slow and there was a lack of attentiveness. We felt ignored at times but couldn’t fault our food there

There was only one thing stopping this being a 6. There were beer flies floating around us as we ate. As soon as we'd swat one away another would be flying around us

Wow my wife and I enjoyed the most delicious food with starter of calamari and pork & leek meatballs, roast dinner as a main which was huge we had no room for desert. On arrival the staff welcomed us and gave us advise regarding menu. The atmosphere was lovely, will be returning. Also if you like milk shakes they looked amazing. Well done to all at Hatton Garden Liverpool

Great little place, brunch was good and freak shakes looked amazing. Slight miscommunication between staff meant we were unable to order what we wanted despite it being available, but the owner was very accommodating and kind about it

The place is very nice and cosy , the menu is simple , i've had the calamary and it was really tasty , meatballs were good too for my partner , for mains we had burgers again very tasty . Good choice of coctails . Huge screen on the wall with footy on so my partner kept an eye on the score ;) Overal , nice place to go for coctails and light bite .

Went with 4 friends for breakfast/brunch. The place was full, always a good sign. We ordered coffees and breakfast. Service was polite and friendly and pretty efficient. The coffee here is very good, nice and strong, and the breakfasts were really tasty and great value. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we stayed for a pint - thoroughly recommend for breakfast, which is served until 4pm I think.

No indication that certain menu items needed to be pre-ordered and with such a small menu it made it difficult to find something we wanted.

We visited with friends early on a Saturday evening and found the staff very welcoming. Excellent food and good service. We were able to use the Tastecard which made it very good value for money. Lovely ambience.

Really good breakfast as usual - good quality, good value and plenty of choice. Coffee is good and strong and the little peanut M&Ms are a nice touch. Service always lovely too.

It was the best Sunday Roast I've tasted in a year. Because price and quality it deserves to be in the top ten list of Sunday Roast places of Liverpool. In addition really friendly staff as well as quiet place to enjoy with friends or family.

Scrummy roast, great ambience. Waiting staff could have been a little more attentive as had to ask for a couple of things but overall very good.

Visited this place "en spec" whilst staying in Liverpool . Really friendly Manager/Owner and great background music. The food was excellent , very well presented , perfectly cooked and of an extremely high quality .In fact my Partner's Dessert was so good she took forever to eat it as she didn't want to finish it . They also let us use our Tastecard , even on a Saturday , which reduced the Bill considerably . We will definitely go again next time we are in Liverpool .

Told they were fully booked upon entry despite having made reservation. Informed that booking wasn't made because "it wasn't in the book" despite making it online through their website. Not offered any alternative time. Ruined Christmas

We had been double booked and had to rearrange our time - I was contacted a few days before going, and so this wasn't a problem. However, we were compensated with complimentary cocktails! Porn Star Martinis - with champagne & popping candy - which were delicious. The service was spot on, the staff very friendly and the food - starters & main course were delicious. But it's a bit off the beaten track, I probably would never have known it existed only for been given a meal treat at Barley & Beans as a Christmas gift. Although I wasn't paying for meal, I noted that the menu prices were reasonable and the portions good. I will certainly go back!!
