As one of the largest restaurants in Covent Garden and London, Belgo Covent Garden deserves to be celebrated. How large, you ask? 12,000 square foot over two separate eating halls – the first being an impressive beer hall type of set up, the second being an intimate and relaxed restaurant (in the conventional sense). The decor in both spaces is cool, contemporary and comfortable, and Belgo Centraal has two impressive vaults that can be hired for a spot of private dining as well. Whatever the occasion, this branch of Belgo London has you covered.
We don’t know if you’ve ever tried Belgian beer, but it’s probably the best in the world and at Belgo Centraal there’s over 62 variations of it. There ain’t no beer in Covent Garden like this beer, folks, and you can order a trinity of triples to get a flavour for more than one, or order by the glass if you already know which suits you. Either way, you’ll want to be pairing some food with it, and that’s where classic Belgian moules frites comes in. Hot damn, munch your moules from a bowl, plate or platter and choose flavours ranging from green Thai to traditional marinière. You can, of course, opt for burgers, rotisserie chicken, savoury waffles or other classic Belgian mains as well. Located on Covent Garden’s Earlham Street, you’d best go to Belgo armed with a reservation to avoid disappointment.
