The food was very good but I was a bit disappointed with the basement seating area. It was quite dark and the stairway was very narrow. Quite quirky but not for me.
If you love seafood then Wednesday is a must ! Along with a warm and friendly service a very enjoyable evening was had by all. (P.S. Do linger for an after dinner chat and cocktail at the welcoming bar !!)
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! From arrival and cocktails at the bar, to being shown to the table and served recommended and lovely food how could it not be lovely! Will be back soon!
Tried hard and what we had was lovely, but we're out of stock for a lot of things and only had one choice of dessert. Booking also didn't get to them so they were surprised to see us. I guess from the empty room that happens a lot.
Their true menu is better than the one online. It's a small restaurant so would definitely book in advance. The food is delicious and service is good. Will be going back.
Wow great food lovely wine. Super friendly staff which made it into a great evening for us. The Pea and mint ravioli was delicious, The spicy sausage cooked in red wine was a real winner and the lamb fillet on a bed of rocket with garlic mayo was superb!
Great food and a marvellous host who made us feel welcome in a tiny restaurant with oodles of atmosphere! Recommended because of its charm and character
Fantastic local Italian restaurant with amazing food. Small but really interesting and varied menu which had something for everybody. I highly recommend it and will be returning soon.
What a delightful little place. Although not so little as they have a room downstairs. The food was refreshingly different and the owner was delightful.
A great night out, delicious food and wine, very friendly and attentive staff. Will tell our friends about Bellenie's and we are looking forward to eating there again.

Excellent food and service. Hayley is the chef and clearly knows her stuff. Everything cooked on the premises and is delicious. Small choice of dishes but that's a positive.
