Friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. Food is a little bit pricey for the quality and portion sizes. However the food tasted nice. Drinks are expensive.

We have been going to Bellina since it opened, we enjoy real Italian food and cooking. The small size makes it more personable. Good food, cooking and service.

The greeting and and service was mediocre and found the food bland. My wife had veal with spaghetti sauce and she says it was just like spaghetti from a tin of Heinz. We eat out most weekends but won't be going back here.

We have had some lovely meals here but our last visit was disappointing. We chose sirloin steak which was tasty and cooked well but wasn't complimented very well with the sides as it came with what looked like the crinkled chips you can buy from any supermarket. When you are paying £18 for a steak you expect to have home made chips! We chose tiramisu for desert as this is a very well known Italian desert and we wanted to have something traditional. When it was brought to the table we were told that it was very fresh and that's why my portion seemed to have collapsed! My sister had a more generous portion as it was her birthday although, we both finished our desert in a few mouthfuls! I'm hoping this was just a bad night as we have had some lovely meals here!

Food was just what we were looking for - freshly cooked traditional Italian. Sadly the restaurant lacked any style or atmosphere and there were only 6 people there on a Saturday evening. The staff were not smart and whilst very pleasant were not terribly professional With done effort I am sure that they could do better

Pasta dishes were lovely but was left disappointed with starters & fish dishes which were particularly small, not worth the money. Shame as this has always been a good restaurant

Great location, lovely sophisticated décor, waitress was pleasant. Lacked atmosphere. Pollo Con Polenta was too salty and polenta too soft. We chose the Bruschetta, being in an Italian restaurant but disappointingly, it was flavourless. This could have been improved upon by using better quality tomatoes, as it seemed that they may have used supermarket bought "basics" tomatoes. I have said that the meal was expensive, purely because of the quality of the food, which I felt did not justify the price. It is not a restaurant that I will rush back to.

Lively and welcoming atmosphere, traditional and a bit retro. We had a reasonably priced and decent chianti. Simple but very tasty pasta dishes. The desserts were acceptable but we had the feeling they weren't perhaps made on site. I prefer to eat in independent restaurants rather than chains and I would go again

We ate here on a Saturday night and it was quite busy when we arrived. We waited quite a while for menus, drinks and for the food to come. This was despite the restaurant getting progressively quieter. I have to say the food was excellent but just a few issues with the service mean I am happier giving this a 5 out of 6 for this visit.

Interesting restaurant in the heart of Blackheath Village nearing end of first year open. Comprehensive menu and fair wine list with specials of the day. Not for a tight budget but a good atmosphere to enjoy food of quality carefully prepared

We had a delightful lunch in an otherwise empty restaurant. The menu was varied and I chose fish which was delicious. The service was excellent and the bill was very reasonable for two courses as we had prosecco and wine with our lunch.

Really good food and the service was excellent. Only two other people in when we were there, which was a shame. Mind you it was Thursday lunch time. The owner/Maitre D' is easy to talk to and can be funny, if you want him to be. I had the 'special', skate wing, which was lovely. The rest of our party had the lunch time menu, which could not be faulted. Olives and bread sticks came free before we ordered and Limoncello before we left, a nice touch which makes places such as this stand out for service. I urge you to give it a try, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be going back

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like very special guests, especially my 6 year old granddaughter. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the service attentive without being intrusive. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and came away feeling we had made a new friend in the manager. We shall certainly be back.

A good overall experience. Friendly staff and fair value for money - the only exception was that the stuffed mushroom starter was small for the price. Would return.

Nice intimate restaurant. Food and service good. However, when they brought the olives there was butter with them and my wife asked where the bread was? It arrived and very nice it was too. Except they later added £3.50 to the bill and took it away before we finished it!
