We had a pleasent and efficient welcome and although slightly early our table was ready. The menu was comprehensive and the food excellent. Service was prompt, with drinks and food served with a smile. Try the Indian cider!

We had fine quality food, exquisite service and when the bill came we were overjoyed... the staff couldn't do enough for us... Not being flash but I've travelled the world, three times over and this was one of THE best Bangladeshi/Indian meals I have ever tasted... EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food at the Bengal Brasserie is always the best quality and the service never disappoints. The portion sizes are so generous that we often leave with takeaway.

This eating establishment in Wetherby is a real favourite with friends. Last night eight of us had a really nice meal. It was served with precision and skill. How the waiting staff managed to cope with eight golfers all ordering very different meals was something to behold. I am always impressed with their customer service skills and their ability to remember faces so well. Sayed was one of our main servers and helped with choosing from the menu. Well done to the chefs and everyone in front of house roles

Excellent food and superb service. Extensive menu. Reasonable prices. Only problem the noise level that makes conversation difficult. Might go back on a quieter night.

Lovely prawn puree starter, followed by a chicken sag curry with garlic nan, delicious! Draft kingfisher was the ideal accompaniment. Service was pleasant as usual.

Varied menu options and can adapt to suit your own preferences , lovely food all round with helpful and attentive staff , comfortable seating and we sat near the window area which was open and refreshing on a hot summers day, would recommend this restaurant

Had a gorgeous meal on Saturday night here. The food was excellent, staff friendly and the restaurant was busy and plenty of atmosphere. Only problem too much food!!!

Delicious food, attentive staff. Seemed to have rather demanding customers at the next table, and every whim was catered to without the slightest bit of attitude. Excellent example of proper customer service. Anf the food really was exceptional. Will be returning for sure.

As it was my wife's birthday and i was booking through Quandoo, i sent special instructions to ask if they could provide a small birthday cake with a candle. I called them after 5pm (when they opened) to confirm they had this message - the person I spoke to wasn't aware of it but said they could do it. Anticipating the cake to be presented, it never arrived. Great meal as always but this was a huge disappointment. What's the point in have a special instructions box if they aren't aware of messages in it!!

CRACKING EVENING, NOT PUSHY AND VERY POLITE. FOOD WAS SUPER BUT WHY CORIANDER ON TOP. WILL BE GOING BACK. WE TOOK FRIENDS FROM LEEDS AND THEY ENJOYED IT.

The staff were all very professional and friendly and the service was very good. It was a busy Friday evening but we found the noise level quite high, not sure if it is the acoustics of the building.

The food was delicious (mine was flavoursome without being really spicy, which is just how I like it) and the staff were friendly and helpful.

there are far , far better indians than this , the service was incredibly slow , had to ask 3 times to bring a second drink, very keen to get the food out brought the starters while we were still on the popadoms , when the meal came it was average - i guess handy for a local but not worth travelling for - disappointed really lovely setting and nice atmosphere , I've just been to better

Good food and lovely staff. One of the best lamb tikka massalas I've had and my husband's jalfrezi was great. We like Bengal Brasserie better than any Indian restaurant in Harrogate where we live. It's worth the drive to Wetherby

Almost always good food. Very busy last night but the standard did not drop. Pickle tray excellent, starters very tasty, main courses all plates clean. My favourite Modhu Chicken, a fruity curry, was top quality.

It was very busy being Good Friday. However, we were shown to our table immediately and served without any delay. The food was excellent and when we had finished we were given a complimentary drink at the bar. Altogether, really enjoyable experience.

As usual the food was excellent. Despite it being busy the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests were very impressed.

This was our first visit. We were welcomed warmly and our table was ready. A minor criticism is we were seated at a table with lots of customer and waiter traffic and it was a little dark. The service was good - we had a drink within a world record time of 2 minutes (impressive). The dishes arrived with a gap in between rather than all together and the main dishes were warm rather than hot but other than that the food was excellent. We were offered a complimentary drink when paying the bill which was a nice touch. On leaving the door was opened for us and we were thanked for our custom. We will go again.

Excellent food, although restaurant was very busy and noisy. We felt rushed by the staff, as they obviously needed the table. Nevertheless woohoo again, if only to sample another delicious dish.

Booked on line for 20.30 got table upstairs for overflow at 21.00 just standing in foyer with other guests a nightmare they must have overbooked it's the first time this has happened at this resturant the food was fine but not cheap been out all day in Leeds so it was a bit late to find somewhere rise to eat it has put us off as we had friends with us so this time they failed to impress.

Excellent food in a great buzzing atmosphere, this place is always busy but the staff are still very attentive and keen that you enjoy your experience.

We have been using the Bengal fairly regularly since it opened in Wetherby and have never been disappointed. The quality of the varied food dishes on offer is always good and represents good value The staff are always very pleasant.

The food is excellent food and service first class. It is very popular restaurant and recommend booking a table on Friday & Saturday night to avoid disappoiontment.

First time booking with Quando, but it was quick & hassle free. The restaurant was very very busy, we were shown straight to our table. The service was excellent as was the food. We will definitely book again. The only down side to the restaurant is the noise, there is nothing to absorb it! My ears were ringing by the time we left!

Excellent food, good service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere catered for a group of 12 quickly and efficiently. Would thoroughly recommend and will definately be back again.

have been to this restaurant 4or5 times in the past and it has always been spot-on. on this occasion the food was well under parr,the startes were fine but the main course was awful.the naan were like burnt toast and the butter chicken was watery with scraggy dark chicken meat including pieces of grissle(not nice.) the finishing touch was when they brought the bill i was just looking at it when without a word just grabbed it back off the table and reappeared 5mins later with an altered amount. i was very disappointed on this visit and hope it was a one-off glitch as 2 strikes and out.
