Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi cuisines collide at this Coventry curry haven. One of two in the Bengal Delight family, the Coventry outpost is as committed to serving fine Asian subcontinental cuisine as its twin in Birmingham. Under the energetic guidance of head chef and part-owner Bash, Bengal Delight Coventry’s Holbrook Lane premises dish out imaginative interpretations of tried-and-tested classics.
Bengal Delight Coventry’s head chef and part-owner Bash has won many accolades in his short but stellar career as the region’s top purveyor of Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani cuisines. His approach is innovative but respectful. Trained in the art of Indian cookery from a young age, but with his skills as a chef honed in some of the UK’s top restaurants, Bash consistently delights Coventry curry fans with his superlative dishes. Popular numbers at this Holbrook Lane restaurant include Bengal Delight’s chicken chilli masala cut through with lemon juice, fresh garlic and chopped chillies. The shaktora tenga cooks lamb to tender perfection in citrus fruit and delicate spices, while the sylheti jhinga masala bakes fresh king prawns in the tandoor oven, serve up with cooling yoghurt and fresh cream.
Dining in at Bengal Delight Coventry is, as its name suggests, a delight. Guests savour this special curry house’s selection in a welcoming environment of wooden floors, burgundy leather seats, and fresh flowers on every table. Guided to your table by friendly staff, the mood is already set for a culinary journey to India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The selection at Bengal Delight Coventry, down Holbrook Lane, is extensive, so be sure to ask your wait staff for recommendations if you are as yet uninitiated to the delights of this restaurant’s offering.
The food was a real delight both in the way it was presented and in its taste. The staff were friendly, polite and a real credit to the reteraunt

Excellent restaurant, definately on the re-visit list, great food and friendly staff, no problems with the reservation. An altogether good night celebrating a special occasion.
AJ and the team are as ever the perfect hosts, intricate with detail and catered for all our needs, the food was perfect as usual 10/10 the best Indian restaurant in our area by far. Party of 2 or 20 it's the perfect place to go
My second visit ... so I am naturally very happy with this restaurant. The food is fantastic ... the menu is quite remarkable ... you need some time to get through the vast selection of dishes offered. Amazing restaurant, first-class in every sense.
Very large choice of menu. Lovely food. We went on a week night and service was good. I had a cup of tea and the milk was off, they changed this straght away. It would have been nice if they had waited until we left before they started to vacuum though.
A lot of amazing choices on the menu it took me a good ten minutes to chose. Staff were very good. Not rushing and pestering for your order. Food was lovely and well presented. We will definitely be returning
The service and food is excellent. I've been to many Indian restaurants and this is the best one by far. Lovely atmosphere and made to feel special always. The food is well presented and absolutely delicious.
Needed more staff on reception bar area as the 2 there were taking take iut orders and left us waiting quite some time. Table was in the back room which smelled a bit musty! Slow to order/serve drinks and had to ask for menus. Food was ok but not anything special. Staff friendly but on the whole the place could do with a spruce up & more attention given to diners.
