Bengal Delight Coventry

It was painfully average more of a takeaway standard than an eat in one it was fairly cheap and for a reason the food was rather bland and the service was slow and the staff rude all they did was stare and try to rush you out although at the time were the only business they had in there they were more bothered about the football than customers it was dirty as there were food on the walls I would upload picture if I could I will not be going back.

Food wasn't good, I've been lots of times and have loved the good this time very disappointed. Both me and my husband 😕 I'm not sure if we would go back again.

there is an extensive menu with lots of choice. The thali is great. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. It has a great atmosphere

The food was a real delight both in the way it was presented and in its taste. The staff were friendly, polite and a real credit to the reteraunt

The food in bengal delight is absolutely gorgeous . Been to many indian restaurants in coventry and this is definately one of the best. Excellent friendly service too. Recommend this place one hundrrd per cent . Cant wait for my next visit

The service and food is excellent. I've been to many Indian restaurants and this is the best one by far. Lovely atmosphere and made to feel special always. The food is well presented and absolutely delicious.

Always very good food but a bit to quick when clearing your starters when friends were still eating!! Apart from that all was okay. Great value for money.

AJ and the team are as ever the perfect hosts, intricate with detail and catered for all our needs, the food was perfect as usual 10/10 the best Indian restaurant in our area by far. Party of 2 or 20 it's the perfect place to go

Very large choice of menu. Lovely food. We went on a week night and service was good. I had a cup of tea and the milk was off, they changed this straght away. It would have been nice if they had waited until we left before they started to vacuum though.

Sorry not using it again, appalling service took more than 40 mins for starters then main course overall time 1.5 hours. When we had some left over food still plenty, I decided to take away home as it would go to waste. When I asked the waiting staff to pack the remaining food they in turn came with empty containers and a plastic bag. I was amused as usually when you ask someone to pack rest of the food they oblige and do it for you, but didn't say anything and packed the food. So be ready to pack your own parcel if you think you cant eat if all and want not to waste your food.

One word... AMAZING Perfect evening, great atmosphere and awesome food. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Even though it was extremely busy you felt like nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Me and my husband enjoyed the service the staff was nice and polite. The food was tastie and the whole atmosphere was pleasant. We both enjoyed our evening.

Needed more staff on reception bar area as the 2 there were taking take iut orders and left us waiting quite some time. Table was in the back room which smelled a bit musty! Slow to order/serve drinks and had to ask for menus. Food was ok but not anything special. Staff friendly but on the whole the place could do with a spruce up & more attention given to diners.

Excellent restaurant, definately on the re-visit list, great food and friendly staff, no problems with the reservation. An altogether good night celebrating a special occasion.

Always a lovely atmosphere here. the speciality curries are always freshly made and delicious. Service is excellent and the staff are very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

The food was lovely but the hour and a half wait for it out is off. They seemed to be more bothered about dealing with take away orders

As always food and drink top notch ,seating and surroundings of restaurant very good .Service is good and staff pleasant and helpfull with all questions regards to dishes on menu .Well worth a visit .

The food is great and environment is fine. Its a pity that the serving speed is a bit too slow, waiting for nearly 45 minutes for the main course...

A lot of amazing choices on the menu it took me a good ten minutes to chose. Staff were very good. Not rushing and pestering for your order. Food was lovely and well presented. We will definitely be returning

The explenation of menu was pretty sparse, waiters actually bought out hot towels before sweet course, pretty poor show by staff , but food ok

Where to start, service was abysmal, first drink was served in a reasonable time, we then had to ask to have our order taken, poppadoms served ok but they couldn't count had to ask for the others we had ordered, after we had finished the poppadoms we waited for nearly an hour and then had to ask for our main meal, other people came in and were served while we waited. They obviously have a shortage of staff which from reading a couple of previous reviews is an ongoing problem for them. Food was OK nothing to shout about in my opinion, I've had better with much better service. All in all an OK meal with terrible service, won't be going again for quite a while.

Meals were good but the service was terrible. Had to wait a long time to get a drink so long that some of our party left .

Booked this restaurant because of previous experience, excellent food with not to long a wait and good staff. I.E. needs to be booked or your not going!

My second visit ... so I am naturally very happy with this restaurant. The food is fantastic ... the menu is quite remarkable ... you need some time to get through the vast selection of dishes offered. Amazing restaurant, first-class in every sense.

We have been to Bengal Delight a few time now & have not been disappointed, great service & great food! I can fully recommend a visit!

Excellent service, beautifully presented, tasty food in a clean, tastefully decorated restaurant. Best restaurant in Coventry by far !
