In the heart of Shrewsbury, Beorn has local foodies absolutely buzzing. Specialising in modern European cuisine, using locally-sourced and quality ingredients, you’ll find an array of enticing dishes on the menu, including pan-seared scallops with crisp bacon crumbs, black pudding and pea puree, oven roasted duck breast with pomegranate jus and a succulent fillet steak served with foie gras, truffle shavings, garlic crostini and a madeira jus. All of which, we think, go along perfectly with a bottle of their premium wines. Beorn is located on Frankwell Quay in the town centre, and does tend to fill up quickly – for good reason – so bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
We celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary with a sumptuous late lunch. Stunning fillet steaks with porcini sauce helped down with a bottle of champagne. What more could you ask for! As usual service was of the highest order. Thank you for contributing to what was a wonderful day
