Big Red Bus

Travelled some distance to enjoy a memorable experience for a special occasion.The reservation booked for 11.45 was not possible as the restaurant does not open until 12 noon ! Ate on the top of the bus giving a great experience.Warm with the heaters on.Toilets quirky too.Service was good very friendly and prompt.Food delicious well cooked and presented good value for money too.Pizza crispy dough balls great and dessert good sized portion.A quirky place with good food would recommend.

Nice little restaurant, the food is gorgeous! We weren't aware that Saturday was geared towards children (kids films etc) so there were lots of kids running around, but overall it was great.

Excellent value for money. Quirky too! It must be great in the summer as the beer garden looks pretty good

Absolutely loved having my birthday party at The Big Red Pizza Bus. The service was excellent, warm and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - all courses - and the atmosphere was incredibly warm. Thank you very much! I will absolutely recommend it to others.

Fantastic night out on the big red bus. Yum pizza and atmosphere! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great little outdoor area's also. Easy booking service too.

Lovely, quirky local venue offering great value for money. would have been nice to be seated in the actual bus, but maybe next time :)

I thought this place was amazing! We went during the afternoon, so it was only the two of us on the upper deck of the bus :). The staff were friendly and the food was really good. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to make a return trip!

Delicious pizza, cool atmosphere. Not a fancy place or anything but it's a great place to grab good pizza. A good selection on the menu too.

Great atmosphere, great pizza and reasonable prices. I think I'll start having regular "pizza on a bus" nights.

Very different and interesting place to eat. Good food at a reasonable price. Liked the Sunday lunch time music. John

The inconsistency in service wasn't nice. We went with a big group and I know this can be tricky at the best of time, however our main waitress clearly seems to be getting fed up of serving us! Which wasn't very nice. Lots of mix up with food order. Service was slow! They promised to take two meals which where extremely late off our bill but they didn't! Didn't bother ask them! The online booking process was easy, I wish I did that in the first place as email communication was very poor!

good food and nice to dine on a big red bus. A very interesting venue with lots going on live entertainment and cinema nights offered. We went for lunch it was very quiet, service was a bit slow but very pleasant. I would imagine the atmosphere at night to be quite lively and the whole place has a good 'feel ' to it. Will definitely go again probably try for evening this time. Wonderful dessert, the melting chocolate sponge, highly recommend. For main try the gnocci with lamb ragu mmmmm delicious!

Great food, extremely keen service and great atmosphere. The platters were great, as was the pasta and the pizza for that matter. I love this place.

Great atmosphere (eating on a bus!!) and lovely pizza, but end-of-meal service (getting bill etc) is always very slow. Not a major problem of course!

Got a seat inside the bus..yeah!! Food and service excellent but a bit chilly -eating with coats on made it a 5 instead of 6. But I'll layer up next time!

Service was great and food good. Cool laid-back vibe. Definitely will be back.

Fun and quirky place. Really surprised by quality of the food and choice. Toilets don't quite live up to the rest. Worth a visit should be on your to do list

Friendly welcome with efficient service. A good selection on menu with nice pizza and simple mixed green salad. A vibrant atmosphere. Good value, would recommend.

Food average. Comedy night after woods was excellent. Service was the worst thing I've ever received in my life. No orders were taken at the table. Food / drinks took a long time to arrive after ordering at the bar. Bill came back wrong, had to be changed. Manager couldn't be bothered to change it properly so he just discounted it by 10%. Still expected a 10% service charge. Two tables inside the bus also complained about service. Very dissapointing.

Bus extra cool. Just a little bit too hot inside but nice service, quick and super cosy. Great stuff ! Brilliant

Friendly staff, great pizza and a fun setting. Have visited a few times and never been disappointed. Drinks take forever but food is perfectly timed.

Could not fault the food but need to have a greater choice of beer - maybe a real ale? Will definitely be back though and hopefully get a table in the bus next time! :)

Great place in Deptford...pizza wasn't as good as I've had from here before. But still a fun place to eat. Cosy on the bus. Good wine!

A novel experience . We loved being on the Bus and our waiter was very attentive ,friendly and charming in a very real ( noti've been on the course )kind of wayFood was good ,well presented and tasty . We had the vegetarian and meat platters the truffle oil pizzas and Italiano pizza . Nice thin crispy bases. Meantime beer always welcome.See you again soon with our friends!

Very friendly service, amazing thin crust pizzas and loved the garlic bread with honey and cheese. Great atmosphere wether on the bus or in the outside courtyard.

Great food, family friendly, and you get to eat a pizza and drink beer on a bus. I also love the staff - great bunch.

My first time there and I have to say that from A to Z it was a good experience. My kids enjoyed it as much as the grown ups. Nice Halloween decoration and babyfoot, great atmosphere. Will deffo go back!

Great tasting pizzas but not the most engaging atmosphere. Also a 10% service charge is added to your bill which is fine although the service was not out of this world.

This was about my 5/6th visit to The Big Red. The pizza was amazing as always and they service some of my favorite beer 'Meantime' which is brewed just up the road in Greenwich. However the service was very slow, after the order was taken it took about 20 mins for us to recieve our drinks. Two of the waiting staff were unaware of the pizza, pint and free comedy offer for £10.00 and I had to inist that the offer had been posted on their Twitter page that evening. Upon checking with a manager they did eventually honor the special offer. My friends and I all really enjoyed the comedy and would definatly try to catch another show this year. I really like this restaurant and I love going somewhere local and independent for dinner. It's just a shame the service can be so hit and miss.
