Cocktails are really good and on 241. The menu was quite small and the food was average. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and service was good

Very nice, friendly place. Had a lovely couple of pints of Goose Island. Chips were excellent. Good portion size for the pudding. Would recommend. Try the Beer Ink beer, flag ship it's fantastic.

An enjoyable meal in lovely surroundings.My dietary requirements were catered for and the service swift. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.Thought it might be busier on a Friday evening though.

Food was nice. Hot plates would have helped keep food warm. It was a cold night. Some different dishes on the menu. We all enjoyed it.

We had a very nice evening staff and food were very nice and professionally served. We requested extra toast for the pate and it was brought straight away. Would certainly go again.

Good food apart for noodles not being cooked enough. They could have done with an extra person serving on as we had to wait awhile.

Visited 29 July evening. Very nice food. Pleasant atmosphere. Have eaten here a few times previously. The current owners have definitely developed a good menu, the best food in the bistro's history. Had to wait a long time due to a large party ahead of us. But starters knocked off the bill as we had to wait too long between courses. A nice gesture, appreciated! Will be going again.

A hidden gem. Ashley and his provide great service and food. Extensive food menu, wine and cocktails. Can highly recommend. Booking essential on a weekend.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Great surroundings and atmpshere. If anything, needs to be sign posted better with arrows pointing you in the right direction, especially from the roadside.

The food was great quality, but the service was a little slow. We were seated at 7 but didn't not get our order taken until 7:20, drinks then took a further 15 minutes to arrive (2 beers and an orange juice so not exactly complicated). When the food arrived it was delicious, but we felt the place was more of a bar than a restaurant. Might go back for the early bird menu but wouldn't pay full price again.

Great food, great beer and great value especially with a taste card! So glad I found this place, highly recommended. Try get a pint of Flagship, lovely.

Lovely Bistro, great atmosphere, stunning food and cocktails are a must, they are fab. Have booked to return very soon, the owner is a very jolly chap,nothing is too much trouble .

We went for lunch for my aunt's 80th birthday and there were 5 of us, choice of food was large and food was gorgeous, service very good, atmosphere good and very friendly staff. Definately will go back and recommend to others

Staff very friendly and welcoming ,good choice of nibbles,meals and wide range of drinks. Lunches are particularly good with a wide choice. Nice out door area if somewhat small. Overall a lovely little place would definitely return

Lovely evening at the Bistro with the family to celebrate our sons 18th. The food was delicious, steaks, lamb shank, salmoln and the surf and turf was amazing well worth the £40.

Lovely food in a pleasant and relaxed bistro. Service very good, not rushed between courses. Excellent value and choices on the three course early bird menu.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Visited for Valentines Day treat, the food was amazing as it always is. Have booked again for Mothers Day and outing with friends too.
