Brilliant as usual, lovely food, still my favourite restaurant in Ilkley.

One of the younger staff with glasses needs customer service training as when asked if she could take our order she ‘ said not sure as kitchen was busy’ then proceeded to just stand at our table, eventually taking order when ask if we could or couldn’t order. Once food arrived a throughly enjoyable meal.

Great service especially on a busy Saturday eve. Lovely food - so flavoursome and tasty.

It's our 2nd visit here, and we really enjoyed the food once again. It's all very fresh tasting and freshly prepared. The green curry is particularly good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for years and championed it many times to my friends and family as the best eatery in Ilkley but things are changing folks: Saturday just gone was my third trip on the bounce where the service - or lack of it - has pushed me to write a negative review. The main problem is the length of time between ordering and receiving food. We waited circa 45 minutes for our starter and way too long for our main course. The staff were obviously busy with it being a Saturday and full house but if they or the kitchen cannot cope, it needs a reduction in tables or extra staff. This is an ongoing problem it’s not a one-off; other family members have reported the same issues to me. And just to make a disappointing evening worse, the waitress, who obviously knew we were waiting an inordinate time for our food, offered us some more prawn crackers as a peace offering but forgot to bring them! Later that night, following the meal, both my wife and I woke twice to drink copious amounts of water - probably due to the high salt content - something we’ve not experienced from this establishment before. I will probably give this restaurant a miss, at least for a few months to see if it’s improved, and then I’ll be making a reservation for a quieter time but not a Saturday evening.

Food is much better than the environment, they put us in the cellar to start with, this was a little clostrophobic, so we asked to be moved to a room with windows as it was a sunny evening, which they did and it was much nicer,
