Great food, service a little slow considering the restaurant was quiet but friendly and purposeful. Some really great alternative items on the menu that should cater for all tastes.

Me and my son, who is veggie but considering becoming vegan, have been here twice now and it's been lovely both times. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options along with more traditional meat and fish options - we were spoilt for choice. The service is great and the staff and owners are very friendly. Will definitely visit again. :-)

Seated in rear part of restaurant. Extremely warm. Needs a fan fitting. Food very good and service matched it. Would definitely go again but insist on table near the Windows

Food was tasty and service was polite. Was quite quiet for a Friday but I would guess that's because it was the week before pay day.

Food was good but not as described. I ordered the duck with fig mash and berry compote. I was told they had not compote but I could have something else, the choices of which didn't go. The duck was very nice but I failed to find any fig in the mash. What I ate though was very good. My wifes Halloumi burger with slaw, salad & chips was very nice. The room though was very cold & draughty.

This is a must go to place to eat. I loved it. The staff and owner so friendly and the food was amazing. We booked to go back as we left. I have a number of food intolerances but I left feeling like a normal person as they catered for my every need. I even had a gluten free vegan chocolate brownie with vegan ice cream and it was better than any dessert I have ever had.

We sought out Blackberry Grove due to its Gluten Free kitchen since my twenty-something daughter has Celiac Disease. The food and atmosphere were excellent. The owner was a delight to speak with, and we wish her much success. We need more GF restaurants! We found the menu a bit limited and the live music was marginal - both should be easy fixes. We recommend Blackberry Grove for good food in a casual atmosphere with nice people.

Excellent food and a great atmosphere. I tried the vegan food and it was delightful and it is fantastic that all food is gluten free.

the gluten free approach was excellent, no need to worry about inadvertently eating it! The food was really good and it was excellent value for money. Recommended even if you don't have a gluten allergy!

First time here for us. We chose it especially because they offer a good choice of vegan meals for our daughter. The food and service were very good, nice ambiance and decor too. Only negative was there were quite a lot of things on the menu that were unavailable, which I thought was strange for a Friday night

Lovely Sunday roast.Rubbish gin and tonic to start with served in an awful glass ,no lemon but offered a trial cocktail which was lovely .Roast beef was very tasty and gorgeous Yorkshire pudding all nicely presented.,

It's a lovely atmosphere, and the design is relaxed industrial chic. However, some of the seats aren't very comfortable. The manager/owner was warm, friendly and informative but the remainder of the service was somewhat slow, albeit polite. The coffee was bitter and lukewarm and took a long time to arrive. Most of the food was very nice, but the choice of desserts, considering we were there early in the evening was quite depleted. Due mainly to the warmth of the guy in charge and my own food being enjoyable, I'd give it another go.

Great food, staff and set up. Loads of choice for veggies and meat eaters so caters for all. Massive portions so sadly didn't have room for pudding this time!!

Food and service both excellent. Lovely to be able to eat out without worrying about allergies. My husband especially enjoyed the battered fish which as a coeliac is hard to find in most restaurants. We will definitely return.

Not enough staff so slow service, they ran out of guinness so had to go out and buy some, fish slate starter not worth the money and prawns overcooked, steak stroganoff quite vinegary and not enough meat. Overall not very impressed and some of our party said they were still hungry after the meal! Saxaphone player was too close and overtook the conversation at times.

arrived for our 8.30booking, had to wait for table. Waited another half an hour for menus, which we had to ask for. we ordered more drinks, but they had to rake the ones we were already using as thy didn't have enough glasses. Dissappointingly poor.

Had a lovely meal last night at Blackberry Grove to celebrate my daughters GCSE results. The staff were fantastic - very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble and it was very easy to attract their attention. The food was delicious. Only only comment - please use a better quality Ketchup. The portions are very generous - didn't have room for a pudding but you can have them to take away! Very clever idea. It was very busy but the staff coped extremely well. Definitely worth a visit - we'll be going back! Thanks very much - lovely evening.
