Food was great but the atmosphere wasn't. The music was way too loud and seemed to get louder and louder to get people out. Drinks were cleared away when they were half full and our whole party felt unwelcome. Such a shame as before the refurbish we always felt welcome but sadly probably won't return apart from a takeaway.

It was like having dinner in a nightclub with loud, pounding music. After waiting for some considerable time we eventually had to ask to place our order, which then took forever to arrive. The food was delicious but not somewhere to go if you want to actually have a conversation!

Our night was terrible was very dark n everyone sitting close to each other not enough room to eat n the music was far to loud another level

Really nice food. Unfortunately very pushy waiters as soon as we arrived got told you only have table for 90 minutes. Felt rushed and didn’t get time for dessert for this reason won’t be using again.

We recently visited Bongow and were blown away by the renovation! The new look is stunning. But what really impressed us was the food - delicious, authentic Indian cuisine with generous portions. The service was top-notch too, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Can't wait to come back and try more. 5 stars isn't enough!"

I took my work colleagues here for a Christmas dinner and they all rated Bogow as an excellent restaurant. My two Asian colleagues who have more understanding and knowledge of south Asian cuisine said that the menu and food was of a high quality. The waiting staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and really helped us all from the menu when deciding what to eat. Obviously I will be returning to try something new.

Decor and atmosphere was very welcoming on arrival. Staff very attentive and efficient. We ordered Chicken Pasanda, Tikka King Prawns, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Special Rice. The food tasted amazing full of flavour. I enjoyed the music playing in background if not a tad too loud. The music stopped when the telephone rang, a little disturbing to the experience . As a suggestion I would recommend that the lovely shiny surfaces are dried with a cloth rather than left after a wipe over leaving water streaks. We had a very pleasant meal and will definitely go back again .

We went to try bongow out after it had been refurbished and the menu had been changed. We were surprised by tge changes and also by the new menu. The food was really good , tasty and plenty .

I think the new look of the restaurant is excellent but found the music was a little loud, as I couldn’t hear what was being said in our group and found myself shouting to be heard.
