Lovely place, good atmosphere and pleasant staff- delicious menu at affordable prices! Highly recommended. Great tapas options as well as main courses and nice to see mocktails on the menu too!

The restaurant was absolutely lovely- delicious food from start to finish! Great servers, friendly and efficient. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommed to everyone visiting Edinburgh. Only downfall was slightly overpriced cocktails, possibly due to our Valentine’s visit.

Boteco Do Brasil has a very chilled, Latin American atmosphere. Our waitress was absolutely friendly and offered an excellent service. Brazilian tapas are delicious and on Tuesdays you only pay £3 for them! Highly recommended.

Food and service exceptional. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We booked a groupon deal and it was fantastic value. Sat outside in the sunshine

Very pleasant experience. Warm welcome given by Consuella who proceeded to advise and look after us very well indeed. All of our tapas dishes chosen were very well presented and delicious. Cocktail and wine were also good. We were there on a Tuesday night so their reduced pricing made it even better. We shall definitely return.

Great food and friendly service 👍🏻👍🏻... this was our first time here but we will definitely be back! We had 10 different Tapas dishes and we enjoyed them all!

I had an amazing birthday here the Brazilian Tapas were excellent and I would highly recommend this to others and lovely cocktails as well at reasonable prices.

Was so pleased with our pre Christmas afternoon out at this venue, you get well looked after! Food was so tasty and fresh. Warm and authentic. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing evening. Staff brilliant, could not have done more. The food.....WOW!! Loved it, would recommend to anyone. Missed the entertainment due to transport time but could have stayed all night. Thank you Boteco do Brasil we will be back for sure & soon xx

I booked the wrong date but they still, despite being really busy, they managed to accommodate us and we had a table fro an hour. Before seating us we had margaritas at the bar. The service was swift, food came quickly and we we had a great time. Thank you.

Stafff riendly and helpful. Menu very limited doue to the Edinburgh Festival. Food not great but this was firat visit may be better after the Festival when full menu available. A bit naughty adding service charge as this should be down to the customer to agree if he has had good service.

Great night great atmosphere food was good although menu was a bit limited would definitely recommend staff were great and the live music was fantastic as well.

Reserved online. Was asked to make £5 per head deposit next day, paying over the phone makes me feel insecure. 10% service charge added to bill without warning.

Staff are excellent and very friendly. Food always great. There were 3 of us and we had 2 courses each, a bottle of wine and a couple of beers all for under £70 which was good value.

I lived n Brazil for two years an can only say that the food at La Boteca is authentic and of really good quality and exceptional value. After munching our way through delicious prawn starters and salad my dining partner and I were delighted with the steak...cooked perfectly. the choice of wine was a little limited but the Italian red was a great accompiment to our dinner...forgot a refreshing Caiperhino to start! The service was superlative...friendly, efficient and fun. We thoroughly recommend this little corner of Brazil!!

The food was amazing and staff are really lovely! We will definitely be returning, really recommend this place 100%. The cocktails are also delicious the caipirinha especially.

Nice vibe and staff. We had 5 tapas and a beer each and it came to just over £30 so good value. Didn't feel super bloated after either. Recommend!

Excellent food and cocktails. It's a bit noisy inside but we got a table outside and it was lovely. The tropical aperol spritzer was gorgeous as was the condensed milk-based dessert 😋

Great food and lively atmosphere when live music started. Brazilian BBQ shared between the group was excellent. Staff were great and very helpful. Would return here.

The music was great. The food was good. And the waiters and waitresses were very attentitive and couldn't do enough for us. It is a great place for a night out!

There was 8 of us there for a hen doo. Food and drinks were amazing, staff were very attentive! Music upstairs was brilliant, had us all dancing! Will be back!

The best Brazilian place to go with live music and great food. They are busy but the music dancers and people are coming there are making the place soo friendly and appealing. One of my favourite places to eat and dance in Edinburgh.

Great food, good all-round selection, and great value for money with the 2 course option less than £7! Went there for Mother’s Day. Will return!

We went on Tuesday to taste their grill platter for two. Both the food an the cocktails were really nice and the staff was friendly and polite. We had a great time and we will definitely visit it again.

It was very good with all the food and drink. And the Christmas decorations was beautiful service also nice will come back to eat again.

Went for the first time with the hubby. Lovely wee place,not a big menu but I like that. Really enjoyed the food,staff very friendly. Will return to try the cocktails & live music another time when I'm not driving.

First time ever tried Brazilian food and it was a Brilliant meal fantastic service and the cocktails were just awesome definitely will be going back!!

We had a fantastic evening enjoying a good meal, the food was excellent, with first class service, by very friendly staff. There was live music throughout the evening and the selections played were excellent. In all a first class evening, we will be back.

This is an excellent bar and restaurant. The food is lovely and very fresh and reasonably priced. Good cocktails too! Great service and the staff are lovely.

Service was fast but food order was wrong on first attempt. When food order was corrected steak came raw and cold in middle, had to request two of three steaks be cooked further. Over all a disappointing experience for a restaurant we'd heard good things about.
