Start with anything from mackerel pate to West Mersea oysters then follow, perhaps, with grilled fish of the day straight from the quayside of Newlyn in Cornwall or battered cod, haddock or plaice. Very nice food, waiting staff were friendly. Surprised that the chips were served separately in a bowl for the three of us to share. I would have preferred my own bowl!
