The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly. The décor, tableware, music and general atmosphere was sophisticated but relaxed. An excellent meal out!

The food at Brigade is always good, but the service is fantastic, and really makes an evening there special, even a rainy Tuesday night after work!

Seven of us were delighted to be shown into the private room where we were charmingly looked after by the Brigade staff. Delicious food, too.

Exceeded my expectation, brilliant food quality and outstanding customer service Charitable status of the restaurant also gives great inspiration on giving back to the community, helping homeless and vulnerable people to succeed.

Service was excellent. However, they ran out of wine we wanted and were out of several of the entrees. What we did eat was very good.

Nice service as always on a weekday dinner with friends. We had a lovely South African red and excellent dessert. The Shepherds pie was not as tasty as we hoped but it was mice enough. Love the social enterprise commitment.

Hello - very good... I had not been there before, and it was a lovely meal, with very good staff. We arrived 15 mins early, and the staff were ready for us, and found my booking, instantly. Food reasonably priced... wine a little expensive, but not silly prices.

As ever, totally attentive service and the best view into the open plan kitchen! Had something of a taster carousel of starters shared between 3 of us, each one better than the last.

We booked to go to Brigade for a late breakfast. Fantastic, friendly greeting and service. Deliciously fresh ingredients cooked in front of us and served up appetisingly and appealingly on the plate. Amazing value for money. Will definitely go again & recommend it. Thank you to all at Brigade. Nick & Joy Laister

Food was excellent. Service was a bit spotty, but they had several large parties that night. Really enjoyed the vegetable pie and my husband enjoyed the ribs.

Booked a table for 8 people and when we got there we were taken to a private room which on one hand was nice but also meant that we didn't get the atmosphere from the rest of the resturant. Wasn't a big deal but would have been good to know when we booked. Food was good although maybe a little expensive for the quality. Overall really nice evening though and staff were very attentive.

I booked a table for 9 so that we could get a meal after a visit to the Shard viewing experience as part of a big family weekend in London. We booked an early time as we were going on to the theatre and were delighted on arriving at the Brigade to find that they had booked us into a separate private dining room around one large table. The service was excellent as was the choice and quality of food. I would highly recommend the Brigade as we had a great time!

Overall, I'd say nice atmosphere and good service were the highlights of the evening. The food was good but portions very small - and for the amount you're paying for a main, you shouldn't be expected to pay separately for a side dish to be included. It was nice to know they donate towards the Food Foundation for every dish ordered.

Especially the mains were excellent with delicious pork and rib! Service was accommodating. We got great advice on an after dinner bar located close by which was perfect for drinks. Very helpful!

We went for lunch on a Friday. The choice was just about right and the food when we did decide what to have, was fantastic. Service was great too - attentive but not overbearing. Only thing to watch - despite the info on the Tastecard website, they no longer accept Tastecards.

Fabulous service and great comfort food in an impressive building. An all-round feel-good experience in the shadow of the Shard. Good to know some good is trickling down.

Broad menu offering Headliners and Classics, such as burger, fish & chips and steaks. I chose slow braised venison (on a bed of lentils and with belly pork) from the Headliners section. Very well presented and cooked, and a filling, warming dinner on a cold January evening. All dishes are reasonably priced, and there is a generous wine list. We had a Californian Zinfandel - great with the red meat. A warm welcome and great service ensured we had a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

I booked this restaurant for me & my teenage children, who have an interest in history. I chose the location because it was an old fire station in an historical part of London. We were disappointed that the restaurant didn't appear to have kept its character & although it was very nice, it could have been a nice restaurant anywhere. We ordered fish & chips and the fish was very good, however we left the chips as they were not very pleasant in sight or taste. The service & staff were exceptional - very accommodating and extremely friendly and efficient. The food did offer good value for money, until it came to the dessert menu which did seem over priced & rather too complicated. Unfortunately I would neither recommend or return based on our visit.
