Food was great, good portions and so tasty, recommend the tacos - yum! Hidden gem on the royal mile that is just like all those bbq places in the states- really enjoyable

Great service, were able to accommodate the fact we wanted to come early to our reservation. Food was great. Was left absolutely stuffed. Definitely no small portions here. Would recommend.

We arrived quite early for our table but they said we could take a table that’s had just came free. The service and food quality was excellent! Portion sizes are huge! We will definitely be back next time we are up in Edinburgh! Highly recommend and compliments to the chef and waitress staff. Thanks

Drinks were absolutely delicious and our platter of food was brought out very quickly and of course everything on it was yummy. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Massive portions, very tasty food, great service, excellent taste in music!! Pit Boss Tray and Pulled Pork Sliders were highlights. They make a mean Mojito too! Thanks Bubba Q!

Was recommended this by a friend and I was extremely disappointed in the food, chicken had no flavour, the mac and cheese was like cardboard and the beef brisket was mostly fat. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

This was my 2nd visit and my daughters 4th superb welcome from the manager n staff made to feel very welcome would Defo recommend as it’s food is to die for come folks try this place you won’t regret it

Great food, great service. Highly recommend this place. We ordered 2 plates of nachos between 4 of us and really should have only had 1 because we really struggled with the main course. So much food!! It's amazing!!

Best described as limp, very poor quality in the ‘smoked’ meats. No smoke penetration noticeable on anything we tried suggesting they had not been cooked low and slow on a smoker at all. A real let down for my wife’s birthday meal. Staff were attentive and prompt but the product let the whole thing down

Amazing food , portions were huge and cooked to perfection ! The young lady who served us was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food at an amazing price , we even had a 20% voucher code to use too ! Cant wait to visit next year !

Hidden treasure on the royal Mile, not much to see from the street but we'll worth a visit. Good choice of menu, good value for money and delicious food. Went with 3 friends and everyone impressed with their food. Staff friendly and attentive.

Good experience overall. perhaps too much food on the plate. Some of my food was really hot, other parts not so much. Service was great, nice and friendly. If you want a lot of food, for a decent amount of money, this is the place for you.

I used to LOVE BubbaQ, but since they've changed their menu I'm not as keen. Don't get me wrong; it's still a feed. But I'd probably not choose it first anymore.

As always, great food from Bubba Q. The menu there is getting bigger so it's tough to decide on what to eat. I recommend the baby back ribs though, and the BBQ beans are awesome too.

great meal, menu has changed but same great tastes and the same team looking after front and kitchen duties. You have to want meat with extras but this place gives you that and in a great way. We had baby back ribs and pork sliders. sweet potato fries and chilli fries, onion rings and corn on the cob. meat was yummy, soft and flavourful a sweetness you'd expect. Fries and rings were crispy and hot (their chilli is amazing I'd eat a bowl of that on it's own!). Corn rather overdone but still yum.

Always a good food experience at Bubba Q. Staff friendly and helpful, decent beer and wine, relaxed atmosphere. Portions large and tasty. Menu has changed a bit. Only thing I miss is the thick sliced brisket not on menu now. Can still get beef slices on a bun though, which is still very good and the taqos are excellent. Popular place so need to book at busy times. Unique relaxed dining.

The food, service and atmosphere were all great. We had a voucher which we quoted when booking so there was no faffing with phones or print offs at all in our visit. Bring your appetite though as the portions are pretty big!!

We have been to bubba Qs a few times. Last night did not disappoint again. We tried some of the new menu was really good. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Friendly staff, helpful, attentive and great service. The food was great, well worth a visit if you enjoy barbecue food. We tried the doughnut burger, just for a change and it was great, really glad we went for it.

Excellent I had the BubbaTaQos with Cajun Chicken which were delicious and a huge plateful, so much I could not finish!. I would highly recommend BubbaQ for anyone who love BBQ and wants good food with excellent service.

Excellent food and service , we shared the large meat platter which was plenty for two and let’s us taste all the meats ! The only minor niggles were uncomfortable chairs and the price of soft drinks !
