The food was utterly amazing, I had some truly exceptional jerk chicken. Super nice staff and the live music was just brilliant, like I would come here just to hear those guys play any day. Coming here again very soon for sure!!

I love this place. Busta Mantis is the place to be. The staff are lovely, so lovely they make me want to work there. The food is just on point! Every dish I have had, I have loved. Took the family there today for Fathers day and everyone had glowing reviews. We will be back. Total hot spot!

Not all that. I was very disappointed with this venue after travelling from Surrey into London for pub food. The jerk chicken wings tasted as though the seasoning was from a Jerk seasoning jar and I expect a certain type of taste, especially as I am from Caribbean decent, so you know what to expect. The rum punch suites the palates of those Canary wharf banker, CEO types that were there on Saturday evening. Again, I am use to a certain type of taste and quality and the only place to give you a true rum punch taste is Levi Roots outside the Caribbean. This is not a place for the local ethnic minority community which make up Deptford, unfortunately. I want be back especially when you have places such as Levi roots and the Rum shack available.

Great place with a brilliant atmosphere. So chilled and relaxed. The staff are really friendly and the food is fab. Great cocktails too, with a variety to choose from.

I found it far too cold inside and the place feels dirty because of the decor, it was like walking into an old bathroom but slightly modern at the same time, it seems unfinished and there's a lot of open space with nothing there if that makes sense, it's also very loud

Such a gem! Delicious and moorish coctails, many ones which I never heard of before but so much fun to try them.And the food....wow, soooo good! Not the greasy jerk grub, very light and delicious, super fresh. The portions could have been bigger, but I think I'm just being greedy. Can't recommend this place highly enough, not to forget to mention the very friendly staff and the great knees up in the adjacent room on a weekend. All very nice and easy, nothing too trendy.

Great vibes, the music on a Tuesday is chilled and mellow. You have to try their signature jerk burger! The staff are all so lovely.

I had a rum punch and Jackfruit and Guiness Stew served with rice and peas, plantain and side salad. Both were delicious, reasonably priced and the service was efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The staff, service and food is fantastic! Live improvised Jazz on Wednesday nights is definitely where it's at. The crowd was amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent Jamaican food with a range of spice levels to serve every taste set in a cool under the railway arches venue. Friendly service with a relaxed overall atmosphere.

Really nice relaxed, friendly vibe. Welcoming and helpful staff. Super tasty food and lovely cocktails. Very nice venue. Would definitely visit again. The only criticism is that they don’t currently offer desserts on their menu!

Nice food but needed a bigger menu would be good. Cocktails were also nice. Only downside was that the venue was so cold and dark. Tables could also be bigger.

Great little place under the rail arches in Deptford. Decent enough cocktails and tasty Caribbean cooking, with some tunes playing on Friday night that got the crowd moving after the second working week of the year!

Nice bar, friendly service. Food is well cooked and presented. Portions could be a little more generous. Only real negative though is frozen chips. Why do so few places make their own?

Great new opening in Deptford. The decor is refreshing, yet mellow. The cocktail list is fun - some classics with a true caribbean twist. Others were new to me but still looked delicious. The open kitchen and bar is another great feature, making this feel intimate and yet open at the same time. It isn't very expensive comparitively, they have a great happy hour on cocktails and the food tastes fantastic. The vibe is very chilled out, until Fri/Sat evening to PM when there is usually a great DJ and the dining room at the back becomes a dancefloor. V cool and definitely recommend.

food, service and ambiance were all excellent. would highly recommend to anyone who likes good food. the place has a bit of character as well.

Great food and drinks. Not an extensive cocktail menu, but a good selection of drinks. Slightly slow bar service, but very friendly staff that made up for it and food arrived in good time after being ordered. Table service was great! Thanks for a great evening

I went for drinks with a friend and she was loving the cocktails. We got some saltfish fritters which were delicious as usual, especially dipped in the delicious chutneys!

Customer service was definitely on point but disappointed no jerk pork was not on the menu otherwise food was damn good... Cocktails are banging though and hit the spot!!!

Very chilled atmosphere with great music. I had a work leaving do at B.M and everyone had a fantastic time and we will be retuning in the near future. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who would like to have a great time.

Lovely place, delicious salt fish fritters, excellent cocktails and friendly staff. Perfect for a chilled night out, music and DJs 'til late on the weekend.

We just can't keep away. As always an excellent experience! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed and the cocktails are amazing! We even got a complimentary shot.

This is a nice little bar inside a railway arch in Deptford. The staff were very friendly, service was good, the cocktails were nice and the coffee was also very nice :)

Best chips I think I've ever had! Loved the rest as well, and the person who served us took great care of us -- very attentive. Would definitely go back, and recommend others try it.

Great food... extensive cocktail list. Chilled atmosphere!! Friendly staff. Good prices! Dj on the weekends which is nice. You can shake a leg if you want to. Would go back again!

Delicious food - the goat curry was fab as well as the roti and rice and peas. Cocktails ok, but generally a great fun place.

We invited friends out to dinner with us at Buster Mantis. They had been before but hadn't eaten their so we recommended some of our favourites. They were very impressed with the food and thought the portion sizes were generous compared to other restaurants. They were also impressed by the festivals and said they're the best they've ever eaten from a restaurant!

Got there really early so was a bit quiet (Wednesday night) but food was nice and staff were friendly/helpful etc. Will definitely go back again.

The food is amazingky good & great value for money! 2 cocktails for £10... really can't conplain. Nice bit of music playing also friendly staff :)

Really cool, chilled out atmosphere. Food took some time to come out but tasted great! I had the pulled jerk pork burger with rice and peas and my guest hado the ackee & saltfish with festivals. We both really enjoyed our meals and the two for one rum punch cocktails. The staff were friendly and knew the menu well. Overall great evening.

Great cocktails! Wish the burger was slightly larger. The happy hour value is brilliant. Worth a visit. It would be great of Buster Mantis sold their jerk sauce. It's delicious and I would definitely keep a bottle around.
