Food here is very good, especially the Beef Rib tacos, and staff are friendly. Portion sizes are a bit on the small side, but the quality makes up for it. Happy repeat visitor!

Great place...music brilliant..food tasty and healthy. The staff are very friendly and the setting is wonderful. We had a window beside the canal so great to enjoy the bustling ambience. Would definitely recommend it!

We are returning customers to Cafe Chula and we are never disappointed with the food and drinks - always delicious! However this was the first time we went for lunch and we waited quite some time for our food, this was a Saturday and perhaps there was too many orders at once? Anyhow we will be returning soon!

really bad service, had to keep getting up to the bar to ask fro napkins, side plates and more drinks. Waitress kept un tying her hair, running fingers through it then handling plates of food - uck!

We were a big party of 12, it was my birthday the service was fantastic and we were looked after very well. The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly reccomend to anyone.

We do love this restaurant however slightly disappointed when we order a pitcher of margarita that had so much ice in it (only enough for 1 + 1/3 of a cup each) I'm pretty sure that there used to be three tacos in a dish now there are two Service was great and friendly, but it seems that portions and margins are being squeezed

Fab setting, quirky interior, relaxed vibe, great staff, delicious food and drink (cocktails beautiful), will definitely be back. Don't forget to try the churros with chocolate sauce

Delicious cocktails and tacos, but my boyfriend's steak was underdone. Food also came very fast which is good if you're hungry, but can make the meal feel quite rushed.

Great service, good food, good drinks. The only issue was that seating was a bit cramped but it was worth it as the nachos and the tacos were fantastic.

Great food but not particularly great service. Fish tacos were delicious and the churros were a real treat. Good coffee and selection of drinks. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good place to stop in Camden Market.

The starters were delicious! The mains, not so much, but still enjoyable. Margaritas. Brilliant. The service was also delightful. My only gripe was that there were a couple of smokers outside, and given that it is a very small area, it very much interefered with my meal and I had to move a couple of times to avoide the drift of that hideous smoke. My party was particuarly annoyed when we allowed a mother and young daughter to share our table with us, and the mother decided to light up even when she was close enough that her thigh was touching me and I was eating my dinner. If the smokers could be asked to move around the side along the canal, it would be a much more enjoyable experience for everyone. Or at least have the courtesy to ask before you light up, and don't do it when people in your immediate vicinty are trying to enjoy their meal.

The service was spotty, and we were sat on a table where in order for the waitress to reach us (or for us to go in/out) the person on the table next to us had to get up! My friend found a hair in his meal but they gave him a new one and didn't charge for his food. His appetite was ruined anyway. Food was good, but nothing spectacular.

Slight problem when arriving with booked table but was quickly sorted and food was incredible, best mexican food I've ever had. Would highly recommend! Only thing not getting it a six is that the restaurant is really small and the tables are so close together you d slightly feel like your having dinner with the people on the table next to you.

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Camden, and probably in London actually. I go there all the time and every time I take friends there, they love it so much that they then recommend it to everyone. The chefs are mexican, the food it amazing and as authentic as possible. They have a massive choice of tequilas and Mezcals and the atmosphere is really nice. It's the best place to go for drinks and food as you can actually sit and chat to your friends all night having drinks, unlike at a pub where you would end up shouting to hear each other, and most likely standing up. definitely recommend it.

Perfect place for a birthday meal, good food and cocktails. Set in a great location next to the water at Camden lock with nice outside area.

The food was nice but we were freezing. The table was next to the doors and air was coming in from a big gap atthe window. Also the service was a bit slow.

A great atmosphere but the main course was ok, not something that I would want to eat again. May be I will go there for a coffee and cake or a few drinks.

In general it's a pretty good place to eat mexican although the limited menu on weekends is a let down. Staff overall friendly and nice.

Table was given away when we were 15 minutes late and no other space so we had to go elsewhere. Understand why but seems a bit militant

The food was sadly lacking in quality. We had 13 people with us, and we all chose different things. Nobody enjoyed their meal. Far too much gravy was used on the dishes, and there was more ice than anything else in our drinks. The churros were very hard and sickly sweet. The one toilet was inaccessible most of the night, and the music was repetitive and very loud. The venue needs some tlc. Such a disappointment , the staff however were lovely.
