There’s nothing better than Italian cuisine for a big comforting feed, now is there? The Italians know how to live their lives to the fullest, and Cafe Corvina on Grahams Road in Falkirk town centre celebrates la dolce vita in all its grandeur (and its carbohydrates!). Cafe Corvina, which opened in 2016, is in a space where two previous Italian restaurants were located before it, but this beauty is here to stay thanks to Gianni and Tony Crolla, two dedicated co-owners who have been in the Italian restaurant business for over 20 years.
But enough about the history of the place, what about the food?! This Falkirk town centre establishment prides itself in using only the best, top-quality ingredients both locally-sourced and imported from Italy. Their a la carte menu is seriously extensive with seafood and steak on offer, as well as vegetarian and gluten free options. So whether you feel like a pizza, some stuffed mushrooms, calamari, spaghetti carbonara or veal, you will be sure to find something that entices you on Cafe Corvina’s menu. We recommend kicking things off with some antipasto to share with some of their spectacular foccacia before moving on to a main course of Involtini di Vitello – veal stuffed with provolone cheese and fresh oregano, wrapped in pancetta and served on marinated tomatoes with a Napoli reduction. Mouth-watering stuff!
