London may have its fair share of curry houses, but there’s just something about Cafe Tiffin that sets it apart from the rest. Dishing out some of the city’s most wholesome South Asian specialities, Cafe Tiffin doesn’t mess around when it comes to quality. By taking advantage of time-honoured recipes and traditional cooking styles, the chefs at this Compton Street hotspot ensure that you’ll enjoy authentic Indian cuisine as it should be: fresh, unadulterated and nourishing. The chef’s recommendations at Cafe Tiffin include several classic dishes including handi gosht, seafood karai, paneer tikka masala and the house special, a medley of tandoori chicken, lamb tikka, chicken tikka and sheekh kebab all cooked up in a zesty medium sauce. An Islington favourite, Cafe Tiffin tends to get busy, especially during peak hours. Make sure to reserve ahead to avoid a queue.
Excellent Food, some a little different from the 'standard' menu, which was all to the good. Attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable staff made things an enjoyable experience. Also excellent value for money.
The staff were very nice, the food was really tasty! I would definately go again! Its BYOB so make sure you bring a bottle with you if you want a drink.
We frequent Cafe Tiffin and they never disappoint us. Service is warm and friendly. It's a BYOB place and they serve the best and authentic curry.
Wonderful food and very good service! 4 of us dined and every dish was utterly delicious. A little treasure and we will definitely return when next in London.
Food, service, price and ambience was great for a small side street Indian. Portions a good size and very tasty. Love the BYO. This was our first visit but we will become regulars as more to try.
excellent food, wonderful service, great value. highly recommended, and you can bring your own wine. went with a vegetarian and a vegan and two meat eaters..suitable for all
Excellent food and a v nice atmosphere. Never heard of it before but very happy that we gave it a try! I highly recommend to anyone.
Lovely neighbourhood restaurant, small and unique, delicious, fresh food, BYOB, friendly attentive staff, great vibes :-). This place is a find, will definitely go back.
Good quality, good value food - dont serve alcohol so bring your own. Some interesting dishes including monkfish. The sizzling plates are lovely and a must try is the specials menu.
Food very average, almost tasted like the sauces were from a jar but the service was great. Potentially we made poor ordering choices. BYOB a huge plus
