Good service we had tapas which were all lovely . would recommend this restaurant

Arrived early & had cocktails while we waited which were lovely. The music was the smooth tones of Tarrus Riley & the atmosphere was laid back but the food was absolutely out of this world. Fantastic authentic Caribbean flavours that hit the spot. Would definitely come back. Awesome experience to eat good food with good service.

Booked reservations for 3 people for 4.30pm 6.10.19. Arrived on time to find it closed. Looking through the window it was dusty and looked derelict. Supposed to be birthday celebration. Very disappointed should have been informed. I have purchased 2 lots of groupon vouchers which are of no use to me if there's no restaurant.

The food and waitress was lovely. I would definitely recommend this and we will be returning 👍😄

Extremely basic food! Frozen packet vegetables, dry rice and a tiny portion of jerk chicken which wasn’t even jerk!

Gorgeous authentic Caribbean cuisine coming long fault. A little gem in Nottingham city centre. Definitely will return if in the area.

Used a Groupon offer for a meal here after looking at feedback. First people in at the time but soon had drinks & water at the table followed by order being taken. We had fish bites, chicken strips and meat balls, goat stew. It was all gorgeous. The goat stew is cooked on the bone but no problem at all & the flavour was amazing. Nice drinks red stripe and cider we had. So much food we asked for it to be packed for take away as dident want to leave any. Nice bit of reggae playing in the background as well.

Very poor food. Fish cake with no fish and geasy. Chicken jerk dry chicken and minimal meat. Expensive

Quite an odd experience entering this restaurant on a Saturday night after pre-booking. On arrival we weren't shown to a table by anyone, the bar lady mumbled a few words and gestured to go upstairs after giving us a drinks menu. We chose a table, it wasn't busy. We were left for around 20 minutes, there was one waitress working seeing to another table next to us. There was no eye contact or 'I'll be with you shortly' I had to ask her to see to us politely. Had to ask for a menu finaly when she came back. Asked if we could order drinks. The waitress seemed confused by us ordering lemonade...asked us to spell Archers as she'd not heard of it? Drinks order came back wrong. We got still lemon with our Malibu and Archers? Had to re-do them. Starter was nice, fish overfried, couldn't bite it at all. They didn't have one main course we ordered but came to tell us about 20 mins after ordering it. Didn't have wine we ordered but had one £8 more expensive! Didnt tell us this at the time. The main course was nice but the lack of customer service and ability to converse with customers drastically let's this place down. We felt like we were an inconvenience to them...after spending £100 too! I've never had to ask for a menu or ask to be attended to before in a restaurant. We won't be going back unfortunately. I was shocked to say the least...as were my two friends. Very disappointing.

We did not understand your 2 for 1 happy hour. You divided one drink into 2 and call it 2 for 1. plus the waitress forgot to add the Alcohol to the pina colada so we had to get the rum separate and still pay for it.

Very bad service. Service staff didn't have clue about the food on the menu. Waiting staff need better training. They need to wow paying patrons. A couple walked out without ordering!!! Started clearing before the meal was finished. Had the impression they wanted our table cleared ASAP even though the place was empty. Won't be going back.

Lovely food, 2for1 cocktails is a nice touch. Great service. Would've liked a menu on the table or before we ordered.

Food was authentic and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Although, sitting was very close fitted the relaxed atmosphere did not make you notice it.

Beautiful food, lovely ambience and in a beautiful part of Nottingham. Jordan the bar manager is lovely and great at making cocktails. 2 4 £8 bargain!

Loved this little hidden gem. We chose from the tapas menu with a groupon voucher and added a couple of extra dishes which was too much as 6 dishes were plenty. Food was incredibly tasty, staff were very attentive. We will definately return and eat from the main menu.

2nd visit to this restaurant. Lovely food. Lovely customer service. Enjoyed the 2 for 1 offer on cocktails also. I wish I lived closer and then I could go more often :)

Tasty food, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Went with a small group of friends and the great food was enjoyed by all. Will definitely be going again.

visited caribe restaurant 6th november nice atmosphere propper good food my son had brown stew chicken he loved it his mum had curried goat again she loved it we had cocktails an they do mocktails for the younger ones...the ginger cake with rum and raisin ice cream is the best ever....the place is fresh and clean with friendly staff and a varied menu....good for vegetarian food too....will go again bless

We were the only ones in the restaurant, as we were early (another group arrived as we were leaving). All was really good. Service and food were excellent. Would recommend.

Authentic Caribbean food, great service, great experience and great price. Cocktails 241 is really 241 unlike a lot of places that water them down. Absolutely nothing to fault

Great as usual, went for the shared starter platter which was awsome and the jerk chicken. They even had a steel band playing at the time
