Carluccio's - Beverley

The meal was very nice, and the staff where lovely. However, we where over charged by about £20 on a meal for two of, off the set menu. There where no restrictions on times and days advertised or printed on the menu, equally there where no individual prices for each course. Yet when the bill arrived items where prices individual. I didn't notice at the time, we paid the bill and left. We raised this with the company the next day. I am currently waiting for a resolution. It feels a bit naff that the staff didn't tot up the bill correctly as advertised.

From time of order to time of food arriving we waited an hour. No member of the waiting team came to check with us, reassure us or check with the kitchen. Only when I said we'd had enough and were leaving did anything get done. Apparently forgotten in the kitchen. The meals did arrive shortly afterwards and we're delicious. But, astonishingly generously, the head waiter completely cancelled our entire bill which we thought quite wonderful

Met with friends to celebrate an 80th birthday . Food was amazing . Service good . Atmosphere was good.

Visited with family. Offered several areas to sit. Made to feel welcome. Drinks arrived promptly, we were given enough time to peruse the menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Arrived hot and was very enjoyable. Good choice on the menu.

Party of three had lunch , mixed bread starter to share and a main course wa with a very bottle of Malbec. Food and drink were excellent and we enjoyed a coffee each to finish as not enough room for desserts. Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to come back

Starter was good. Unfortunately I chose risotto ai funghi as a main, which had a lot of cheese in it, which was NOT in the menu description. Luckily, I do not suffer from a dairy allergy but really dislike cheese. As a result, I could not eat the meal. Fortunately, our waitress took notice and approached to check if everything was ok. I asked if cheese was an ingredient of the meal. She checked and returned to confirm that it did contain cheese. I responded that I could not eat it. She asked if I wanted to order something else and I also asked her to check if cheese was included in the description of the risotto on the menu. She confirmed it was not. I chose an alternative main course. By the time this arrived, my husband had finished his meal. The waitress was very apologetic for what had happened, even though it was totally outside of her control, but at no point did I receive an apology or explanation from a manager. I am just relieved I do not suffer from an allergy, when the menu clearly doesn’t reflect ingredients. I have 2 daughters, who do suffer from severe allergies. I do wonder, after my experience, what the outcome would be if they ate at Carluccios. Very disappointed in our overall experience, especially the lack of management response.

Lovely food and very attentive staff. Will definitely return. Good value too .

We'd booked for 7pm but we were running late so I phoned about 6.50pm to explain and the waiter was very accommodating and said not to worry. We chose our table in the middle of the restaurant. The light bulb kept flickering so we tried to rectify it ourselves but this didn't work. Quick service for our drinks choice and for our food booking. Meal arrived promptly. Starter Tomato Bruschetta wasn't what we'd expected. The tomatoes were barely cooked and cold and the bread was soggy and not crisp as we thought it would be. Flavours were fine. The Arancini spinach balls were very hot, crispy and tasty. Main courses were good and we really enjoyed our meal. Attentive service, thank you

Incredible value for money, 3 courses for £24 & food was delicious. Only complaint would be that my friend had nearly finished her dessert by the time mine arrived. Would definitely go again.

Took family guests. Staff were really pleasant and went out of their way to ensure one guest, who was allergic to garlic, was given the correct food. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our evening!

We only had the light plates but all 4 were very tasty indeed. Coffee was excellent. Great not to feel rushed. Lovely to have a round table especially as 2 had flown in from Australia.

There were six of us and I had very good food. The others all had chips with something and they were served hardly warm and I thought the chicken on the chicken milanaise was overdone. The two who had the chicken ate it nevertheless and enjoyed it. A very rare occasion when I have felt it appropriate to give you feedback. I have nothing but your best interests at heart.

We were a party of six and wanted to use a voucher for 50% off mains. We found it quite tricky working out prices with the discount and having add ons with drinks and dessert. However, our waiter was brilliant and dealt with it very efficiently and pleasantly. Full marks to him. Jenny Clatworthy

My partner had carbonara as she doesn’t like spiced food for some reason carbonara was spicy think bacon was maybe cooked in chili oil ?

We all enjoyed our meals, although I was a bit disappointed as there wasn’t any sea bass left.

The staff are so friendly and accommodating couldn’t ask for better service and the food is always amazing. Such an amazing atmosphere whether it’s just for a coffee or for a bite to eat , highly recommend .

Greeted by pleasant waiter and shown to a table by the window. Although restaurant was extremely busy our order was soon taken. We took advantage of the 50% off mains offer and as a result felt the whole meal was good value for money.
